Bev (greenginger) | 744 comments If a book is a problem we wont include it. Is it the ill made mute one?

message 52: by Maria (new)

Maria You can get the ill-made mute as an ebook in a couple of places:

http://www.amazon.com/Ill-Made-Mute-B...

https://www.overdrive.com/media/42202...

Bev (greenginger) | 744 comments There appears to be a problem can someone just tell me which book?

Brenda ╰☆╮ (brnda) | 1494 comments Yes Bev, Ill-made Mute.

Tried to Google availability in US. Only found audio at $25.

Ok we will scrap that one then. Thanks Brenda

jonah I think I'll nominate Gardens of the Moon as part of the Malazan Book of the Fallen series.

message 57: by Andrus (new)

Andrus I'm going to second Deerskin. I literally have had the book on my bedside table for the past two months but haven't yet gotten around to reading it. I loved Robin McKinley's Blue sword, and Hero and the crown, Both of which are must reads for anyone who likes a powerful female lead.

It is available on Amazon in hardback & paperback (both expensive) but there are many used Mass Market Paperbacks available used. Don't know if it is in your local library though.

Alissa | 220 comments @Brenda, Bev, Michele about The ill-made mute. I'm astounded as for once it seems US people have less choice in English books than EU people. It also comes as a little shock that what I see on the amazon.com store is different from what Michele (US based) sees. There is, in fact, a huge IP-based difference, no kindle edition (neither McMillian nor Tor). Pity.

In its place, I'd like to second Age of Iron nominated in #21. Thanks!

I read the ill made mute trilogy, the story itself would have been good but the description went on and on (3 pages on the inside of a cupboard). Also, the author had added a bit to the very end to explain it as it wasn't obvious.

Bev (greenginger) | 744 comments Hi
we have only 9 seconded books so I will leave it open for a bit longer. Please have a browse at some of the unseconded noms as there afe some good ones.

Seconded! Her Raksura books are absolutely amazing, and I read Death of the Necromancer earlier this year and really enjoyed it. An overlooked author for sure!
