Regardless of all of the above, I'm in! Hope this works out!

I have no idea if this helps you personally out, but Patreon allows you to put a limit on your monthly spending. So you can choose the 20$ tier and limit your payment to 20$ a month if you can afford that.
Of course, this again only helps out if you can afford 20 a month, so the paywall question remains. xD

Even if the goofisodes were themselves 20$, one could still purchase one like every other month or something? I don't know. I may juggle things around and squeek out the money for 20 if paywall isn't a feasible thing. Goodness knows the way this group and show has expanded my reading horizons, introduced me to so much cool stuff, given me access to so many interesting authors, etc, is valued at more than a couple of Hamilton's.

The question, similar to Rob Secundus, is do all the episodes count or just the main ones?
The comment is that I'm surprised that the "extra content" is at a fairly high pay level, some that might make it prohibitive/frustrating for people. During the Kickstarter, there was discussion of possibly making the rewards include getting videos a day or two before everybody else, or possibly having a special area of the forum. That idea as a reward was shot down by more than a few people because they thought it would make an S&L "elite" or at least divide the group. Not that I can really think of what makes sense OTHER than sort of doing that for the $5/episode patreons, but still surprised given the previous outcry.

We hope to produce weekly episodes, two book club and two interviews. That's one of the goals of the Patreon. You can limit your subscription to as many episodes as you'd like (if you only watch the book club and don't want to chip in for more than that, 2 episodes a month might be a good solution).
Right now the $5 reward is the "early warning system," which means that you'll know what interviews are coming up or other special info about the episodes in advance. They're not early releases of actual content.

Commitment to Interviews
$2,000 per episode
At this level, we'll be able to justify the extra time it takes to nail down an interview every other week (as opposed to spoadically).
I'm going to start using spoadically. It feels like a real word. Now to come up with a suitable definition .....
