My character name is Tiffanie DiDonato and she's from Dwarf: A Memoir, which is based on her life. As Tiffie grows up she learns to develop a strong exterior which will help her for the outside World. Tiffanie is intelligent, kind and a brave young lady who has faced numerous obstacles. Interacting with others was never a problem even with her rare form of dwarfism, diastrophic dysplasia which limit her in so many ways. In the beginnning I taught about her finding true friends, people who will embrace her and not make her feel at odds with herself. I know if I was in her shoes I probably would have not handled it as she did and have the courage to express how I really feel. Never the less she did, within her neighborhood and school their was always a hepling hand near by. I would love to meet her and ask how did it make you feel to see your mother pressure you into so many surgeries? Also, how would she handle the situation if she was a mother and her child went through such pain? In all im excited to learn more about her journey. 1) If you were born with a rare form of dwarfism how would you handle it?
I think that sometimes as normal beings we say that we would handle it differently . But is takes so much courage and determination to handle a rare form of any kind. I also think that having positive people around you can also help.It sounds like a pretty interesting book
