No-one has yet commented on this book; I really do want to find it! I can't remember any other details except that the 'ghost'/time loop is dressed in full Highland regalia, ie tartan kilt sporran, sword etc.
Highlander in her Bed I don't think it's this book, but there are a few similarities and the book is part of series, so maybe one of the author's other books?

What is the heroine's job/skills/hobbies? Where is her hometown/country?
Can you tell us more about her romantic interest and where they met?

I do think she has a romantic thing about the highlander, but it's impossible because a] he always dies and b] it was 300 years ago!
I can't remember anything about the girl except she is not Scottish and she is new to the area...and I don't think she has a job? Can't recall.

Then I think she falls in love with a man from her own world and time, and together [ really can't recall], they manage to exorcise the ghost and presumably live happily ever after.
Very atmospheric; thought it was Mary Stewart - it's her sort of thing - but seems not. Can anyone help me with this - would love to read it again! Thanks.
