Londa (londalocs) | 1526 comments Attention all AAHF Authors

This is the time to nominate your book for our December read. Please post below with 1 book you would like to have included in the December poll.

This is available ONLY for the authors who meet the following requirements:

1. At least 30 comments in the group Not including anything regarding your own work.
2. You have to join in on at least 1 group discussion for every time you enter your own book into the New Author nomination.

Thank you!

Anastasia Kinderman | 942 comments So if they nominated a book say for November and then December they would have to participate in two group discussions?

Londa (londalocs) | 1526 comments Yes. We have only opened self nominations 3 times a year though. (New Author)

No one has done it yet, but I hope they do this time :0) We are only including AAHF authors this time around.

Anastasia Kinderman | 942 comments Okay, makes sense. I think it's brilliant, you get to encourage new authors without turning the group into a spamfest.

Rosalie Turner | 71 comments Thanks for this opportunity. I'd like to recommend my historical fiction, MARCH WITH ME, set during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s and told through two main characters, one black and one white. It won the Silver IndieFab Award for Historical Fiction & was a finalist for the USA Best Book Award. MARCH WITH ME was endorsed by Alma (Mrs. Colin) Powell, former MS Gov William Winter of the Institute for Racial Reconciliation, many of the "foot soldiers" of the Movement & others. It is used in several universities and schools, as well as the Teaching Tolerance arm of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
I'd love to have feedback and discussion from this group. Thanks!

Londa (londalocs) | 1526 comments Sheryl, Motherlove ????

A.D., I am glad you decided to nominate your book! Thank you. You definitely have enough posts. Hover over your name in any message and it will give you the post count. Yours is 81 as of now. Also, you have participated in multiple Group Read discussions so you are good to go.

Rosalie, Thanks for nominating your book! I wasn't sure if you had seen the announcement and I wanted to make sure you had the chance.

Thanks, Londa:-) 81!!! I honestly didn't realise I've been that chatty lol

I was a bit nervous about nominating my novel, but if it does end up being the group read, I'm sure the comments will help me improve as a writer.
