I read "Les Miserables" a couple summers ago. The movie was coming out, and I wanted to read the novel before seeing the film, and I'm very glad I did. I was quite disappointed in the choice of actors. I had imagined the characters far different than they were portrayed. The book was politically heavy, but an interesting read nonetheless.
I was too hard on Marius in my previous comments. I didn't realize that he was just a baby.
Was the 2012 movie that musical or was it drama?
I would like to see the drama (film).
