Marianne Williams | 379 comments Hello Group:
I have read the entire Inspector Lynley series. How many books in the series have you read?
Have you read the earlier books and missed that last few books and want to catch up on the series?
Anyone never read a Lynley? Let me know.

Marianne Williams | 379 comments Hello David: A Great Deliverance is a great book and a good start to the series. I hope the discussion inspires you to read 17 more books.

message 3: by Odette (new)

Odette (odman) I started reading this series, which I really enjoyed with the release of 'Deception on his Mind' and continued on until 'This Body of Death'. I did not find the time to read the earlier books and for some reason, not sure why, did not continue with the later ones.

I would like to get back into this series now and read Just One Evil Act.

message 4: by Pat (new) - rated it 5 stars

Pat I have read the entire series with the exception of Careless in Red, since it looked like Barbara Havers would only have a minimal role in that one. I love Havers~!

Judith | 559 comments Havers is a good charactor. There are re-runs of the Lynley Mysteries on Channel 20 starting next week, I am looking forward to them although I remember they didn't quite hit the spot.

Marianne Williams | 379 comments Hello:

@Odette I am sure will be able to get back on track with Just One Evil Act The character of Taymullah Azhar was introduced in Deception on his Mind.
@Pat Havers is my favourite character as well.
@Judith I have not seen the TV series.

Judith | 559 comments They are worth watching, they are on at 9 pm, it is the Drama channel.

Marianne Williams | 379 comments @Judith I am in Canada, so I don't get that channel. I will keep an eye out for it, might appear on PBS.

Judith | 559 comments Hello Marianne, I will be in Canada soon visiting my family in Ontario. My daughter likes mystery books etc too so we have a good time, she downloads stuff onto my exterior hard drive to bring home. Last time she got all the Miss Marple series with Joan Hickson, fabulous. PBS is good, I watch the Murdoch Mysteries from that.

Marianne Williams | 379 comments Hello Group:

How is everyone finding the book?

Marianne Williams | 379 comments How is everyone liking the story? Are you finding it too long?

Kimberly Page | 4 comments Can someone tell me the ending? I read the book and forgot what happened at the end. I am trying to get ready for the new book.

Judith | 559 comments I can't remember the ending either, the TV series is again on Channel 20, maybe that will be one of the series.
