Things change...I know Manorian seems like a crazy idea but it spices things up. I know that Dorian is the King of Adarlan and Manon is the Wing Leader. But their their relationship would be so exciting. The characters also seem pretty compatible, at least in my opinion, despite their races. I think they were kind of playful for that one moment Dorian shined through his Valg Prince self in the Oakwald forest. Why else would Manon have visited Dorian in one of the last scenes if she weren't at least a bit curious or interested? Please be open to the possibility of this ship.....and don't shut out the idea or people who want the ship to happen.
I'm sorry I didn't mean to sound rude. For me I just personally don't love Manon that much, whereas Dorian is my favourite character of all so it's not the ideal for me. And for me I'll never get over that first scene with Manon. That was horrifying! And I don't think someone like her would be right for Dorian, personally I just don't see how it would work.
But you're right, things do change. Maybe it'll happen in a nice way and I'll warm to it. Guess will just have to wait and see.
I expect many big changes with both Manon and Dorian. He'll become a bit harder; he'll have to be, to rule the kingdom. I imagine Manon will become a bit softer, something of an anti-hero.

If SJM can pull it off, then I welcome it with open arms. It's just that I can not see this in my mind. Maybe Sarah will make them open up to each other and make Dorian harden and Manon soften just enough- maybe then.

I saw manorian art of Dorian carrying Manon and she was looking over her shoulder to the side. But I feel like Manon should be carrying him. XD lol I feel like she's the dominant one and idk how I feel about that. I dont want her to have him on a leash because I think he needs to grow and harden a bit. And she needs to soften some more. I like them together anyways and I think they will grow to love each other and ally their kingdoms. Or be great friends for the rest of all time. :)
Yo, I just finished reading the entire series today and mannnn, I adore these two. I feel like their relationship have soooooo much potential in the next book (next year?! really?!!). I enjoyed the development of their relationship from initial attraction that formed into some form of "protectiveness" over each other. As if these two are entwined more than just from an explosive physical attraction. And I think that was just SO OBVIOUS particularly with Dorian seemingly so connected to Manon that his magic just acts by itself to protect her and be so intuned with her. And vice versa with Manon also. They're very aware of each other's presence.
And seeing Manon's character growth and development...breathtaking. From the bloodthirsty witch that was "made" to hate and hurt, to this vulnerable but still incredibly strong Blackbeack/Crochan QUEEN makes my heart flutter. One of my favourite characters.
And these two together are a powerhouse not just literally but in their emotional resonance as well. Their relationship was just so organic. They hanged out in the marshes, finding their way together, protecting each other, teasing and flirting, and to their eventual union that left themselves at a loss. We know, THEY know that both, together, their journey is just beginning. I enjoy that tremendously.
And that last bit in EoS when Manon was smiling a genuine smile that made her face "come alive" and Dorian doing so because of her afterwards also is indicative of a complex but I feel, a very satisfying conclusion to this relationship.
Cannot wait!

I'm proud of being a MANORIAN fan because I'm fed up with people criticizing this ship on tumblr.
These two deserves each other and I'm not saying this because Dorian is my favourite character but because their relationnship makes sense !

I don't really know how I feel about this ship like its cute and all but I wouldn't want dorian to turn to the worst like what if he becomes super dark.
Tbh, whenever it came to a Dorian and manon scene i would just cringe I mean, he's cute and shy and adorable and then you have fiesty Manon
I think he should have someone like him.... maybe she would understand him more... but idk, everyone has their own opinions

(KINDA SPOILERS FROM TOWER OF DAWN)In my mind their realantionship is just lust ATM, they have feelings but they aren't the focalpoint of the realationship. I think they will grow to love each other but I also think that Dorian is gonna think that Aelin has sacrificed enough and sacrifice himself to create the lock. Their magic are two sides of the same coin and he could do the same as Aelin and create the lock, I know lots of people don't like this reality but if you think about it, it makes sense.
Orrrrrr, another idea I had is that now that Yrene can destroy the valg darkness in a person, joined with Aelin and Dorian's magic they can trap Erwan (and maybe his brothers if that is what indeed comes). IDK what do you guys think?

While yrene could help them destroy the valg there's still the issue that they have to use that lock to send the gods back to their home which will kill the person who does that
I really like them as a couple but I'm not very fond of the idea of this sudden bang buddies thing theyre doing. When she flew over his window with Abraxos she was wondering if this could be love, not just horny hormones do me now in a boat kind of thing.
I would have loved a slower development of this ship and a little more romance, instead I feel like what I got was a bit of lazy writing.
But she is by far one of my favorite female characters at this point and I cant wait to read about them in the next book
