"You must really love me that much to remember exactly every detail of our first encounter." Lex said, and flushed. She leaned forward and hug him, resting her head on his shoulder.

Lex titled her head." Why?" She asked curious to know.
"Can you list some then?" She asked softly, and pouted, bottom lip out.
He kissed her forehead, lThat baby seal face you can make. Your eternal beauty, your intelligence, your laughter, your giggles, your whispers, your soft hands,"
Lex smiled, and flushed."sounds like you really love me. I wish I could remember you." She sighed and hugged her knees.
He sighed and nodded, "even if you don't remember me. I remember you. That's all that would matter, But, why do you think you only forgot about me?"
Lex sighed,"I don't know. Maybe because life is cruel and it wanted to snuff out our happiness." She looked down at her hands."wait why are their rings on my fingers? Do I wear rings?"
Lex watched his reaction," did you give these to me?" She asked, but knew that must be true.
He nodded and kissed each finger with a ring and smiled up at her, forgetting her amnesia for a moment, "I love you,"
Lex stared at him, and giggled."that tickles!" She squealed. Then caught sight of his chest." What's around you neck?"
He smiled at her giggles and sighed happily, then pulled the necklace off slowly, "You gave this to me, other than you, it is my greatest treasure." He whispered,
Lex took it in her hands and studied it. She ran her fingers over the northern lights gem with a heart and their names in the middle. She smiled." The necklace that reminds me of my homes, you and BC." She said softly.
He smiled and watched her happily, remembering when they had their first kiss and his heart skipped a beat.
Lex looked up and smiled." What are you thinking about?" She asked then got up, stumbled but caught herself and sat behind him to put the necklace back on his neck. Then she got up and stretched her muscles, from touching her toes to stretching her back.
He smiled and watched her stretch, knowing that was how she always stretched as he fingered his necklace quietly, "Just remembering everything," he said softly,
"Everything about what? Or whom?" Lex asked and smirked. Then shivered."where are my clothes again?"
"Everything about us. Gosh. I wish I could give you the memories." He said softly then stood up. "They are at the river still. I'll go get them." He said and walked toward the door.
Lex nodded, and curled up under the blankets. Then accidentally fell asleep. She tossed and turned, plagued with broken fragments of memories. A sweat broke across her forehead.
He walked to the bridge, picking her clothes and his up quickly, then saw something flash in the water, a bright green, he dropped the clothes and dove into the water for it.
Lex whimpered softly, tears running down her cheeks.
He dove down, grabbing the item, a small green box, the box her engagement ring was in, he surfaced gasping for breaths as he pulled himself out of the water, then began walking back to the infirmary, soaking wet and barefoot, holding the clothes and box, trying not to get them wet.
He walked into the infirmary and into her room, setting the clothes down and drying himself off with his towel, then heard her whimper and looked over at her, her face streaked with tears, he walked over to the bed and picked her up bride style and sat on her bed, holding her to his chest gently.
Lex wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his neck.
Lex woke up and wiped her eyes."it's too much." She whispered and hugged him tighter.
"The fragments. Too many are broken." She replied. Then smiled." But I do remember something." She leaned up and kissed him softly." I love you."
"I love you most." Lex whispered with a smirk.
He smiled and held her close, "Im glad you remember that," he said softly and kissed her deeply.
Lex wrapped her arms around his neck and parted her lips.
"Parts. I remember when we meet, well most of it. I remember going back to my dorm. I remember bits and pieces, me hurting you.."she said regretfully," you hitting your head and after that nothing. I still don't remember the rings, or why I'm in a bathing suit. I hate not remembering!" She teared up in frustration.
He hugged her close, "shhhh, It's alright. You still have me right? I can help you remember." He said kissing her softly.
Lex reached up and cupped his face gently, deepening the kiss.
Lex sighed softly and parted her lips, lacing her fingers with his.
Lex welcomed it with her own, and moaned softly. She melted into him.
Lex pulled back and hugged him close."that's better than I cant remember."
Lex rested her head in his shoulder," I love you more."
"Is too." She smiled and pulled him close.
