Infirmary - 2

Same as other infirmary, except this one is closer to the forest or for smaller injuries and such. Over-all this is a smaller version of the large Infirmary.

Jay runs in panting as he holds Lexi in his arms, "hello?" He asks, A volunteer came out of a room.

Lex whimpered softly.

He kisses her forehead softly, "You are safe now," he whispered as the volunteer quickly led them to a small room in the back of the infirmary.

Lex relaxed, still swimming in the darkness.

He quickly set her down on the bed and whimpered nervously,

Lex whimpered softly.

He stroked her hair gently, "I love you," he muted softly as the volunteer inspected her head.

The volunteer, Sara as said on her name tag checked Lexi over. She had a large bump on the back of her head and a few bruises on her arms and legs from falling. She worried about the internal injuries." She appears to be fine. But it's the internal injuries in worried about." Sara started cleaning Lex's wounds.

Jay watched the volunteer carefully, making sure she didn't accidentally hurt Lexi, he slid his hand over Lexis hand and kissed her hand softly,

Sara finished cleaning and dressing Lex's wounds. Then went back to checking her head." Theres no fluid. So that's good. But she could have a concession." Sara checked her eyes and found them responsive." We will have to wait till she wakes up." Sara sat beside the bed, checking her vitals.

He looked at Lexi sadly, it was his fault for not going with her, he could have caught her before she fell. He groaned softly, stroking Lexi's cheek.

Lex felt the darkness lessen and noticed her hand was warmer than the other. She tried to move but couldn't. She saw the darkness raise about again, but fought it. Not wanting to go under. She focused and twitched her fingers. Then pulled back, tired and sweating.

He felt the twitch and smiled, he stroked her hair softly, "It's alright Lexi, your safe now." He whispered,

Lex heard a familiar voice say her name. She struggled and gripped the hand then went limp.

Lex gave into the darkness and the pain lessen. She felt a thinning dull pain, but it was less than the sense of loss she felt.

Aspen was a clever girl, and even though she was only year 6 everyone knew it. So she was shadowing a nurse around for a while. Well, the nurse had gone to the other infirmary. So that left a 16 year old in charge of injured patients. Not the brightest idea ever. White blonde hair falling softly around her face, she moved over to the other students. She wore the normal school outfit, her hat, gloves, and scarf on top of the normal cloak on a chair in the corner. Instead of the brown cloak, she wore one in the white and red used as universal hospital colors. "What happened?" She asked softly, looking the girl over with a sharply intelligent glance.

"She fell and hit her head on some rocks down by the river," he said leaning down and kissing her forehead.

Lex sighed softly.

He smiled down at her and took her soft gentle hand in his and kissed it softly,

Lex felt the darkness lift. She tried to open her eyes, but they felt like cement.

He rubbed his thumb over her knuckles happily, "I love you Lexi," he murmured.

Lex squeezes the hand that was holding hers and opened her grey eyes to see a white ceiling.

He noticed her eyes open and smiled, "Hey Beautiful, how are you?" He asked in a soft, gentle voice.

Lex blinked and focused on him."Umm good." Then sat up and pulled her hand away to rub her eyes.

He smiled and watched her carefully,

Lex put her hand to the back of her head."why does my head hurt so much." She focused on Jay." Who are you?"

He frowns, "Lexi?" He murmured worried, "Please tell me your joking."

"How did I get here?" She asked looking at him."why can't I remember?"

He frowns and puts his hand on her cheek, but looks at her seriously, "Lexi?" He asks and looks into her eyes sadly.

Lex looks back at him."who are you?" She asks, confused. But leans her head into his hand, somehow it seem naturally, like a second nature of hers.

His breath hitched, hoping it was one of her jokes, but somehow he felt it wasn't a joke this time, "Im Jake, your boyfriend, I," he almost whimpered, looking down at her sadly."

"Boyfriend?" She repeated, pondering it."jake?" Lex tried to remember but it hurt." I.." Her voice faltered."I don't remember." She looked up with tears in her grey eyes." Why can't I remember?"

He bit back tears and hugged her, "You slipped," he murmured into her shoulder,

Lex hugged him, rubbing his back."I'm sorry, but I don't remember that."

"There are spells that can heal, although none can return memory." With a small wave of Aspen's wand, all of Lex's bruises and cuts disappeared. She perched on the end of the chair on the other side, across from Jay.

He bit his lip and held onto her tightly, the feel of her hands on his back feeling perfect but out of place. "What do you remember?"

"Leaving my dorm, with a star map then nothing." Lex wrapped her arms around his neck and felt a jolt. Then an image of her doing this in a forest" Hey jay, do I do this often?"

He nods and puts his hand on her waist with a small smile, "I adore it every time you do," he says with a small nod, "That was right before we met I bet."

"How'd we meet?" She asked hoping it would tigger something. Lex pulled back and held his hand.

He smiles at the memory, a spark lit of happiness, "I was looking up at the stars, you were walking through the woods, your nose buried in that book of yours." He said with a chuckle. "I made a wish on a star. You literally tripped over me. Everything was perfect. I can recite everything we said to each other." He grins at the thought of their first kiss.

Lex tried to remember but nothing."could you tell me?" She asked, wanting to know. She smiled."it must be a good memory to make you smile like that."

H egrinned and kissed her gently, then pulled away, remembering her amnesia. than sighed "Where do you want me to start?"

Lex flushed and looked into her lap."can you start after I tripped over you?" She asked softly, looking up at him with a smile.

"I stood up immediately and held out a hand to help you up. "I am so sorry... Are you okay?" I said,
you reached up and grabbed my hand, allowing me to pull you up. "Yes, I'm fine. And I should be the one apologizing. I tripped over you." you said and smiled," I'm sorry."
"It's not every night a pretty girl trips over you in the forest..." I said laughing and picking your book up for you and handing it to you.
You flushed and took your book."thank you." you held out your hand," Alexandra Worthington. But most people call me Lexi." you smiled." Nice to meet you..." you said
"I am Jay Michealson... And it is a pleasure to meet you Lexi..." I said bending over and kissing your hand...
you flushed again but smiled," the pleasure is all mine, Jay."
I grinned "So what brings you to the forest this late tonight?" I ask you...
"Exploring the grounds," you said," and looking at the stars. They are quite beautiful tonight." you fixed your eyes on me." And may I ask you the same?"
"I couldn't sleep... So I took a walk and found the stars quite spectacular tonight... And then Something even more spectacular stumbles across me..." I said with a smile...
You grinned," you saw the shooting star too? Did you make a wish?"
"Yes... And I think It just came true..." I said to you smiling.
You eyed me with curiosity, "what did you wish for Jay?" you asked.
"To meet someone who would become a friend and spend time with me..." I said... Reciting my wish... "What did you wish for?" I asked curiously...
You smiled,"someone to watch the stars with." you grabbed my hand and pulled me over to a giant rock. You looked up at the stars, your eyes reflecting their light, still holding my hand.
I stared into your sparkling eyes and held your hand and leaned against the rock... I watched your eyes under the stars and looked at you carefully, beautiful... i thought to myself...
you smiled over at me, and pointed out your favourite constellation. Then asked if I had one.
"I like Sagittarius for some reason..." I replied pointing to it in the sky... "I'm not sure why but it is my favorite.." I said smiling at you... The wind picked up slowly... And It got a bit colder...
you shivered in your light robe, but stared back at me with interest. "That's cool. I love the stars. Did you know when you look at them your looking at the past?"
"Yes actually... That thought entangles me in questions about the unwritten past... Are you cold?" I asked you quietly and smiled.
you nodded."I guess i was in a rush to see the shooting star that I forgot my jacket." you smiled.
I took off my jacket and handed it to you... "Here... I'm hot anyways..." I said grinning and put my arm around you...
you smiled and put on my coat," thank you Jay." Then blushed when I put my arm around you.
"Anytime Lexi..." I said smiling at you... "So what are you reading about?" I asked you curiously...
"It's a book about the stars. It has a star chart, so I brought it with me." you smiled and moved closer,
I smiled as you skooted closer, and I looked over at you... "You are very beautiful... And very intelligent..." I said softly to you...
you smiled up at me," so I've been told. But I don't see it." you looked back up at the stars,
"Hmmmm..." I said looking back up at the stars holding you with my arm closely In effort to keep you warm...
you smiled, you leaned your head on my shoulder. Then looked up at Orion.
I smiled and sighed happily... "I am kind of looking for another shooting star... I want a second wish..." I said staring at you with a smile on my face.
you lifted your head and looked at me," why? What is it that your heart desires now?" you smiled.
"Yes... My heart desires something alright..."I said.
"There's one! Make your wish Jay." you pointed to one just above the trees.
"I wish for a kiss from the beautiful girl next to me..." I whispered after closing his eyes...
you giggled, and blushed.
I opened my eyes and turned my head towards you... "You really are beautiful you know..." i said tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear...
you just nodded. And buried your burning face in my shoulder.
I lifted your chin up and looked into your eyes and smiled...
you smiled back, and looked into my eyes.
I leaned in slowly.
you smiled and leaned in and placed your lips on mine, kissing me softly.
my heart leaped as our lips touched and I placed my hands on your waist... "
Jake said smiling and relived the whole memory.
