Abby Jane I read the book Tuesdays with Morrie and I loved it! This book taught me so many great life lessons and it showed me how money, fame, and riches does not result in happiness. This is a wonderful biography on an old man named Morrie with ALS, a disease which slowly kills you and makes you unable to move your body. A young successful sports reporter meets with him every Tuesday to talk about life lessons. I love the book because it is such a sweet book and it really draws you into it. It is a book for more mature readers so beware of that.

Carrie Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the book. I liked it. But...I wasn't wow about it, nor was it one of my favs or best book I've ever read. Honestly, I think I was expecting all of those things to happen and when it didn't I was a little under whelmed and disappointed.

Laureen I can 't remember why I didn't enjoy this book but what I do remember and associate with this book is "boring".
The story line as hinted at in this discussion is everything I usually enjoy so perhaps someone could explain it?

I really don't like to appear to have a negative feeling about any book because I do appreciate all authors and the tireless work and research they do to bring us a new view of ourselves and the world.

Aprille After reading this book, the message came back to me that I was taught as a child. Take the time to not only respect but listen to your elders. They have so much to teach us about life and to limit ourselves only to our experiences is to live in a world not discovered. Yes each person's experiences ARE their own but for someone to share with us who has been there and done that is priceless. Our elders have so much to teach us if we just take the time to listen and learn..

Nicole Neely This book changes my life every time I read it. It will be that book I reread at least once a year to reapply it to where I am at that point in my life.

Arcanian This was one of the most boring, over-rated, touchy-feely books I've ever read. I have no idea why it is talked about so much.
