I don't know how on target they are it said I could read around 170 books last year I did over 200. I think it also depends on the type of book I'm reading also.
It told me 215 books/year, but I am closer to 150-175. If I normalize though, and divide pages read by 350, I get over 200 books/yr.
I got 107 books/year. It's less than that I have ton consider with my job, the overtime I do sometimes and other activities, but I read way more than my family and friends. Sometimes they think I don't sleep and read instead!
Very interesting, DJ! Thanks for sharing the quiz. hmm, my reading speed and comprehension is high, but I don't read print nearly as much as I listen and listening to audio books slows me down so the estimate it gives me is out of scope. On the other hand, listening to audio books increases my book counts since I listen to about four to five audio books a month that I wouldn't get to in print. My current pace is slightly ahead of last year, but that could be the length of the audio books I have selected year over year - I normally read 60-75 a year overall.
I have been meaning to read the Game of Thrones books, I love the HBO series!

I think l'm the only one in the world who hasn`t watched it yeat. I made a promise to myself to watch them over the xmas vacation. My boyfriend is itching to talk about it since he read the books and is an avid fan of the series.

Dominique, I'm part of your very small world too, then. I don't have any plans to read the series, too many other books on my list. But if I had a motivation I might consider it.

I know what you mean. For the past year I`ve been trying to start reading the first one but either I don`t feel like it or I find another book more interesting.
I got the outlander series figured out yesterday what I still needed to read yesterday. I had already bought the next book for the nook long ago when I got a gf. But I wanted to see about the companion. Still have to find my hc but see they have the 2nd book that continues where the first leaves off will have to find that one at some point.

Count me on that bench, too. Thought about watching it when it first started, but never did for whatever reason. I like fantasy books, but not that type of fantasy, so have never been drawn to the books either. The test says I could read them in 71 days. It didn't tell me how many books I could read in a year, but I've been doing somewhere between 120 and 160 the past few years.

I told my boyfriend I would make the effort and watch. i just didn`t promise I would not fall asleep!
I have zero interest in GOT. Like Melodie, that's not my kind of fantasy. I prefer urban and historical fantasy that takes place in our world. GOT is epic fantasy that takes place in an imagined world. It's very hard to get me interested in those. I have to be convinced that they are very original. I have heard nothing about GOT which gives me that impression. I think I would find it very derivative and deadly dull.

since I don't have that cable channel and would only be able to watch it at the shore I didn't go for it. but at some point I would be winning to give the book a try even if I do a few pages a day.
