Southpaw (the__southpaw) | 10 comments So I was trying to find this one scifi series I read when I was a teenager and ended up in K.A. Applegates author page because I had vague memories that "author of Animorphs wrote that series". Unfortunately there was only Animorph stuff and after rather long googling session I finally found out that author has two pages. Other one contains only Animorphs while everything else is on the other page.

Is there some actual reason why Animorphs is separated like that into another author page or is it possible to merge these two pages somehow? From what I can see the Katherine Applegate -page has books with K.A. Applegate name written on them so having Animorphs stuff on it's separate page seems kind of weird.

lethe | 16359 comments Authors sometimes deliberately use different names for different books/genres. Since the K.A. Applegate profile says "also published under the name Katherine Applegate", that seems to be the case here.

In any event, these profiles could never be merged, since "Katherine" does not encompass "K.A.".

Southpaw (the__southpaw) | 10 comments Thanks for the answer. (For some reason that "also published" text didn't show up for me I was using mobile yesterday so this two pages thing was pretty confusing tbh.)
