"I have no social life, I have no friends, I spend my free time reading and studying."
He raised an eyebrow. "No friends at all?"
"OK."
He shrugged. "I have people I hang out with bit not really any real friends."
"Oh?" She said softly, wondering if he counted her as a friend or a real friend.
He smiled at her.
She smiled back at him and her stomach grumbled quietly,
He looked at her stomach. "Someone's hungry."
She blushed brightly, "I didn't eat lunch is all."
"Yeah?"((night))
"Well this full fill you up," he said smiling.
She smiled back at him, snuggling into his side feeling safe from the world,
He watched her smiling. Hannah did the same thing.
She almost fell asleep there she felt so warm and safe,
He leaned in and kissed her cheek
She blushed and smiled up at him, "So who is Hannah?" She asks curiously,
He sighed, knowing he would have to tell her sometime and it would be better to get it over with. "Hannah was a girl that I dated for a year but her dad was abusive and one day he hit her too hard and... and... she didn't make it." A silent tear ran down his cheek.
She sighed sadly and hugged him tightly, "I'm sorry," she said softly and kissed his cheek softly,
He nodded, looking off into space. "I loved her."
She suddenly felt guilty for kissing his cheek and pulled away to sit up straight, she sighed and wiped his tears with a sad smile, "Atleast she doesn't have to go through the pain anymore," she said stupidly,
He looked at her. "Yeah I guess I'm just a bit selfish. If she hadn't... I would probably not have scars."
She shook her head, though it felt like she had just gotten crushed she put on a broken smile, "You aren't selfish," she says softly,
He looked at her. "That's what my dad says when he sees my cuts."
She bites her lip and looks down into her lap, "I'm sorry,"
He shrugged. "It's OK. He wanted a popular jock for a son and he got me. A not popular athlete."
"I think your better than them," she says softly, then blushes lightly,
He smiled. "I think you're better than them too."
She smiled slightly, "You are so nice compared to them."
He chuckled. "They are pretty mean huh?"
She nodded, "They used to beat me up," she half whispered,
He frowned. "Why?"
She shuddered at the thought, "They thought if they threatened me I wouldn't tell anyone."
"Tell anyone what?"
She shook her head, "It doesn't matter,"
He raised an eyebrow. "Tell me."
She shook her head sternly, "You can't tell me what to do or you are no better than them," she said crossing her arms,
He sighed. "Please? I told you my thing"
"I can't tell you," she said, her voice wavering,
He laid his head on her shoulder. "You can."
She looked at him, her eyes full of fear, "I can't."
He hugged her. "I'll protect you if it's those stupid kids."
She melted into him, "They don't bother me like that anymore."
He smiled. "Then you can tell me."
She looked up at him fearfully, "No I can't,"
"Please?"
She looked up at him, her eyes filled with sorrow, "I-I I cant."
