Can some help me find a particular book?

First I should mention my memory is crap. I'm looking to find a book I've already read, but forgot to mark as read on here when I did and to one reread it and two see if the sequel is out yet. I can't remember the title or author. Here's what I do remember.

One it's slow burn reverse harem and I'm not entirely sure anything happened between the characters in the first book. Two it's a magic school novel, but its one of the earlier rh magic schools because I'm pretty sure it's been over a year since I've read it.

There was some sort of revolution or attempt to take over the government prior to the start of the book and the bad guy was the lead characters father. I want to say her magic was bound for a while and she lived as human a couple years because of his actions. I think she was just getting by when they found her. She's brought back and given a probationary enrollment at this school. She believes it's because she was only a kid when all this happened and they're offering her a second chance. In reality it's because they need to find members of her father's organization and believe she can be used as bait to do so. All of the guys hanging around her are agents trying to bring in this group of bad guys. There's some scene jn a warehouse where she touches something and it bonds to her and that about covers all I remember.

Can anyone help me find the book/series so I can get back to it?

Yes, She is working on the 5th book now. Not sure when it is due out though as she is working on another series at the same time. She just released the first book in that series last week.
