When you add a new edition/translation of an existing book to GR, you can use the "Add a new edition" link on the page of the original edition and it will automatically combine the newly added edition with the existing one(s).

Since the book was already on GR, "Adding New Books" is not the right folder. Please use the folder "Book Issues" for combine requests.
