I started the audiobook today and so far it's good but it doesn't really stand out from other similar books. Even on 1.5x speed it's still almost 14 hours! It will probably take me a while to get through this one

I was shocked that their mom is dead and quite early on in the story! The information revealed after she died was really interesting, but I think on audio I might be getting their names and stuff mixed up too easily

I hate to do this but I can't listen to this anymore. I made it one page from chapter 10 and shut it off. Everly wouldn't stop getting distracted by how hot the dude was and it was driving me nuts! I know a lot of people complained about that in Firstlife and it didn't really bother me in that book, but I can't tune it out in this one and the rest of the story isn't holding my attention right now 😔

I'll probably come back to it eventually, and definitely not on audio when I do. The narrator is fine, but it really is a lot to take in (especially the reveal about the twins and the king)

Chapter 3
(view spoiler)[Okay so I’m wondering if the sister will be Snow White? Then what on earth will happen to make her hate her sister so much? I feel bad for everyone always hating on Everly. I’m also wondering if she can make things come true through the mirror; she saw her mother as being sick and she felt sick, so maybe Everly made that happen?
I’m loving the terrible jokes between Everly and her sister though.

(view spoiler)[I’m sorry, does she not understand that she literally just killed her mother??? She said it herself; the sorcerer person takes someone’s magic and can even kill them, so she obviously killed her mother through her abilities in using the mirror!

I do really like the premise of the story, it’s such a cool idea and the other world is already very interesting. I have a feeling that Farrah and Roth’s father is the evil king, the one that Everly's mother thought was dead? Can’t freaking wait. I also kinda feel like that sorcerer stepdad guy is actually evil, he learned Everly to fight dirty and all that and I feel like that’ll make her go evil sooner. Hmm. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Woah so Hartly isn’t her sister after all; Truly is! Damn, that’s intense, finding out that your twin was never even your twin :0 but that must mean Truly will be Snow White?

That law was insane too, that a husband can kill his wife if she doesn’t conceive within a year. Damn.

I don’t trust Nicolas for shit; he’s definitely the one who’s going to make her evil, wanting to separate her from Hartly like that. He also said she can trust no one else, AND that the witch will want to leave him behind but Everly can’t make that happen. That sounds damn suspicious to me. Okay I also DO NOT trust Foreverly. Do I even trust anyone you might ask? No, I don't think so XD

I freaking loved the way she met all of the people in Enchantia, that was so damn funny 😂😂😂😂 Seriously, I love her interactions with Roth already, they all made me giggle so much.
I’m now thinking that Violet will be the evil queen, since they said a darkness took root in her heart? Maybe that’s what we read in the first chapter; that prince Roth loves her anyway or some shit? No wait she isn’t his mother so that doesn’t make sense. I’m just kinda thinking that Everly will be Snow White idk???? Either that or Truly will be the Evil Queen; it feels like she’ll be mad when she finds out that Everly can become queen too or something, idk. But Roth isn’t in love with her, he’ll sooner be in love with Everly, so that doesn’t add up either. Aaaaaaaaah I don't even know!!

I really do feel like Everly is Snow White, especially now that she mentioned that her hair is as white as snow. I think Hartly has to keep the trolls and those beasts in line, and that’s the ‘tame the beast’ they’re talking about.

The suspense is KILLING me!!! I can’t wait to find out who’s who in the story, because they definitely all fit so many descriptions! I feel bad about Reese dying, but I feel like he was one of the dwarfs; but he protected Everly so is she indeed Snow White..? The Truly theory was so damn good, I think she’s the Huntsman as well! But what about Farrah, will she be Snow White? I can’t freaking wait holy shit, I kinda want to spoil myself by searching for it XD But Hartly must be Snow White right..? Damn I just don’t freaking know!!!! So many options! Since the epilogue was from Everly’s POV, she must be the Evil Queen though, right? I’M SO DAMN TORN I WANT TO KEEP READING AAAAH
and Noel said something about fairy godfriend, so is she the fairy godmother..?

I seriously hate how she keeps hating him and acting like a bitch, she’s definitely the Evil Queen after all. She's not even freaking fighting it. I do love Phobia eheheh he better not die. It’s so annoying that she’s still searching for Hartly, Noel obviously said that she’s better off with the trolls so leave her the fuck alone. Everly’s stupidness is starting to annoy me.

WAIT HARTLY IS BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, isn’t it????? I don’t think she’s involved in the evil queen at all!!! The troll is the beast, she’s the beauty, that’s her fairytale isn’t it???

Farrah’s description definitely fits Snow White, so I’m guessing she’s indeed Snow White. Ah yeah, she is. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Holy shit, I can’t believe she had to marry the king!!! She really will become the evil queen now, holy shit. Poor thing :( I feel so bad for her, and I hate how no one helped her :(

Truly is definitely the huntsman indeed, Farrah SW, and I don’t know who Noel is, but she’s definitely a bitch. I kinda hate her at this point. The seven dwarfs; Annika, Vikander, Reese, Saxon, the other dude who was with them at all times, but who else? Who am I missing... Maybe Noel and Ophelia? Idk what their parts are at this point.

I hate how she’s become a cold hearted bitch, and it honestly doesn’t make sense at all. Her character kinda completely changed out of nowhere, such bullshit. I need to put it down for a sec because I hate where the story is going. Stop your freaking revenge plotting and be a decent person for once. Seriously, if she didn't act like a cold bitch without reason, everything could've been avoided. Her behavior towards Roth while she literally was the one who siphoned from him without reason makes no fucking sense and I'm so mad about it. Like she's the one who used his power and weakened him, and she still has the balls to be mad at HIM?! Bitch. And the way she first kills his father and then acts all 'haha too bad' to Farrah, makes zero sense either. Why are you a psychopath all of the sudden? I hate her sudden character switch. (view spoiler)[ Aaaah the Snow White and Rose Red is then the real fairytale with Hartly; she’s the one who kisses the bear (the troll) and he’ll become a prince? Wait but no then Everly is again Snow White and she’s obviously freaking evil. But who is Nicolas in this story, and who is Allura? Will Allura be the fairy godmother instead..?

Holy shit Farrah whipped her?? Maybe she is the evil queen after all, since Snow White didn’t even hurt the evil queen as far as I know? Holy shit, I hate Farrah.

Wait, Violet offered a reward for Everly’s heart? That’s more like Snow White again!! But now Everly got a heart from Roth; so is he the Huntsman instead and she the evil queen? Damn I DON'T FREAKING KNOW

I loooove that Roth followed her and is finally taking care of her. Her connection with the animals is kinda Snow White like too, so I’m doubting everything again.
