SOLVED. Romance - Kidnapped, taken to a cabin with escaped convict who was wrongly accused! Falls in love.. [s]

Written in the 1990s, by [probably] one of those romance novelists (not Nora Roberts though). The cover was just a snowed-in cabin on a mountain side at night.

In a nut shell - An escaped prisoner takes a woman captive and steals her car with her in it! They lay low in a cabin on a mountain, where of course there is a big storm. While they are there, she tries to run away on a snow mobile when he is sleeping, but he stops her. They start falling love and eventually do "it." I'm sure it was on a bear skinned rug with the fire a'blazing. She starts to think he is innocent and decides to help him find out who framed him.

Forget the end mostly, other than it ended well and she was returned.

Any ideas what this might be called? I haven't forgotten it after all these years.
