young kids start new colony on a planet. the one kid has a cloak that makes him invincible and he gets an arrow through the neck from the kid that hates him.. one of them can literally see the bonds between everyone in the form of a banner/string. I read it back in 2003 or earlier

Minda~Quenn {Somehow I found a way to get lost in you} Are there no adults in the new colony???? It a childrens' novel, YA, or adult????

Monster Legends | 3 comments I believe its a series. 4 books long? And no adults. They have to repopulate the planet. I just remember them having a ship. And the one person being able to literally see the ties/bonds between people as strings or banners connecting everyone. And the lrader gets an arrow through the neck but he allows the arrow to be shot at him so he could prove a point. And I just remembered the ships turned into their homes. And that outside atmosphere wasnt allowed in I think.

Do you want to wait until you can get your hands on a copy to declare this found, or are you sure it's your book?

Moving to Solved. I didn't see any indication this was other than adult fiction so that's how I shelved it.

Bargle | 1759 comments I've read the series. It is definitely adult.
