I liked this book much more than the last one. The inclusion of some historical events kept the book interesting. Frank, Gino, and Sarah put their heads together to help solve the mystery. It was a well-balanced approach to the story.
I enjoyed this one so much more, too, Robin. It was tightly written and better paced. And, this was a difficult case. I found myself discovering things the same time as the team.
I was impressed that the author tackled a topic as tough as incest. We often think of these things as contemporary issues because they’re discussed more openly. However, it’s not a new phenomenon...it dwelled in secrecy.
I’m really looking forward to all things related to Sarah’s hospital and home.
