The book is extremely simplistic: dull, repetitive, shallow, and full of naive idealistic ideas. Complete absence of critical thinking or serious reflection makes it really hard to read. 100% pro-Google, sometimes to the point of being abrasive. Big believer in google business model, and everything that relates to it. Basic idea, is that everything should be free, open, and your business should be based on a platform, not a product. People are products. If you understand one of the industries he discusses, then you will see his lack of knowledge on how it works.

If you are a big fan of google, then you will relate to this book and author’s ideas. However, if you are a bit critically thinking, have more knowledge about the industries he discusses, then you will definitely find this book boring, and very shallow. You can feel that a blogger wrote this book..
