Were you initially suspicious of Will Bert’s reasons for wanting to find Freddie? When did you begin to doubt his story?

I knew from reading the backblurb on the book that there was something wrong with his story. If I hadn't read it, I don't know if I would have been suspicious.

I actually don’t read the blurbs before I start, even though I post them in these threads!!!

I wasn’t initially suspicious but as soon as the Children’s Society couldn’t find a record of either of them, I no longer believed Will’s story.
