SOLVED. Graphic novel (stand alone?) about life as observed through cat's perspective. [s]

Some years ago I read a graphic novel (stand alone?) about cat owner's life as seen through a cat's eyes. Young woman, newly moved out, finds a stray cat and takes it home to her apartment. Cat observes and tries to understand as owner deal with depression, mother pestering her about being single, relationships and friendships, etc. The cat is puzzled by many behaviors. In the end, the cat helps owner deal with a personal crisis. I don't recall that the cat spoke like a human or had any human behaviors. I recall it acted like a cat. I also I believe it was set in Japan. Any help in helping me recall the title would be appreciated as I am looking for it so I can recommend it.
