Sarah Matthews | 12 comments I'm having an odd issue and am hoping someone can help. Since my first book is already available for pre-order on Kobo, I decided to work on that version of my second book. I added the hyperlink for my first book to my “Other Books by...” page of the second book, but when I clicked on it to make sure it worked, the web page said I needed to update my browser. However, when I put the exact same link in the address bar at the top of the web page, it went right to my first book with no problem. Isn't that odd? Does it have something to do with Kobo being a Canadian based company even though it's the US site?

I really hope I explained that okay.

Bonnye Reed (brf1948) | 53 comments I have a Mac, so it may not be the same on windows, but anytime I want to refresh my browser - call up new emails or ebooks, or whatever, there is a little circular arrow on my main toolbar that will do all that. Almost all the way to the left. Your machine will also automatically refresh periodically, time to be chosen by you under your computer settings. Hope that helps.

Sarah Matthews | 12 comments Thanks Bonnye. :) But I’m honestly thinking it has something to do with the site itself. I say that because not only as my browser up to date, but when I tried to go to the main site from a Word document it did the same thing. However, when I opened other websites from a Word document, including Amazon Canada, they worked just fine.

I also asked my editor to try the link to my book from a Word document, thinking it was just my computer, and it did the same thing with her.
