Chelsea entered, looking marveled. She had already explored the rest of the first floor, now all she had to do was check out the library. As her eyes swept the place, a certain shelf caught her eye. Old Folklore and Fairytales the label read. Chelsea had always been fascinated with fairytales, so she glided across the room to the small shelf that held the books. Picking one up at random, she scanned the back before putting it back on the shelf and selecting another one. This one looked a bit more promising. Looking around, Chelsea wondered if there was any place for her to check the book out - she was much to excited to read right now, but she would've liked to read it later without having to come back looking for it.
((Don't worry, it's fine! I have to go for like ten minutes so this post if kind of short but I'll be back ASAP.))Chelsea's gaze flickered up as she saw the middle prince walk past. "Your...your highness." she stammered, taken by surprise. "And yes, the palace is simply beautiful. Never before have I seen such magnificent architecture." She bit her lip, not sure else to say. "Um....is it okay if I borrow this book from here? Or are there some palace rules against it?"
Chelsea smiled and held his gaze. "Chelsea Dare, two." She replied. Her hands were twitching with excitement, she had to hold them together to keep them still. "I'm a singer." Oh crud, if I had known I was meeting the royal family while wandering the library I would have put more effort into my hair... She thought ruefully, thinking of the braided bun her hair had been twisted into earlier in the day.
Chelsea blushed and let out a small laugh that came out as more of a deep breath. "Thank you, you highness. Pleasure meeting you." As she followed his gaze around the library, she hesitated before stating, "I'm afraid you'll find I'm not much into books, but I do enjoy books about animals and folklore." She thought wistfully to her kitten whom she had left at her home. She could almost feel his silky smooth fur.
This time Chelsea managed a real laugh that didn't sound like she was choking. "Is he interested in animals as well?" She asked. "Oh my, this library is way bigger then the one in my town. It's got like two hundred books in it, if that. I might spend more time here then I originally assumed!" At his last comment, she smiled. "I take it you're interested in folklore and myths as well, then?"
"Ah, then I suppose it's no more use trying to get anything else out of you." Respoding to his second statement she added, "I think I would enjoy that." Agreed Chelsea, still holding the book she had first grabbed in her hand. Unsure what else to say, she ran her left hand over her cheekbone and blinked. ((GTG sorry this post is so short))
(*laughing so hard* Raspberry...xD)
(Oh dam it. Um, do you mind us RPing somewhere else, Fangirling at it's Finest? Sorry...it's just people are already here and i don't want to interrupt their RP..)
Alexa walking in beside Hero, a small smile on her face. One look at the huge piles and shelves of books around her and she knew that she would never be able to get through them all. But luckily, there was the Dewey Decimal system. She didn't know where the Palace information would be, though. She turned to Hero, "Does this library even go by the Dewey Decimal system? I mean, there's books scattered all over the place."
"That's good. I don't like neat freaks." Alexa muttered under her breath, not caring if Hero heard or not. She glanced at each title in each of the rows for what seemed to be the longest time until she found a breakthrough. A book that was hidden behind the rest. It read, Architecture of the Illéan Palace
She set it aside. And looked around at others, she found one with the most odd title, Into the Marriage Hole She was at a loss for words, and simply set it down back on the shelf where she had seen it.
"But, but-" Alexa sputtered, unable to think straight for a few moments. She accepted the book rather hesitantly and flipped through the book. Other than the title, it seemed okay. "Um, thanks?"

Alexa set the book aside, but still couldn't hesitate from scrunching her nose up a little bit. She scoured the shelves in the next isle for anything interesting, but came up with nothing.
Alexa sighed, "There is nothing here about any castle blueprints.." She hadn't exactly given up, but hadn't not, either. "What are those books you have?"
((That's fine))
"You have a sister?" Alexa sighed, a small smile on her face, "I have a twin brother, the most annoying on the face of this planet, I swear."
"You have a sister?" Alexa sighed, a small smile on her face, "I have a twin brother, the most annoying on the face of this planet, I swear."
"And a nice sister too!" She said, stifling a small giggle. All of her old friends' siblings were annoying pests. "I think I should go and-" She used air quotes, "Socialize-" She dropped the air quotes. "With the other Selected."
"Bye!" Alexa called out as she swept out of the library, closing the door gently, leaving Hero with her book. She didn't have the marriage book in her hand she had already dissed it.
