Yes:) He also told me about his next book...it will be about a relationship rekindled after about 20 years, and will be out approx end 2015. And he's going to leave Rosie and Don alone for about 7 years he said!

Is that 7 years Rosie and Don time or 7 years our time? Would hate to have to wait too long for the next instalment!

I don't know Carolyn - his words were Rosie and Don would wait seven years! So not sure:)

Haha! Not sure I'd go THAT far Marianne!

I'd never heard an author read his work before and it just fit perfectly didn't it!

OK, will hold onto it! And yes, normally the Sunny Coast, Suzanne. I've never stayed at Currimundi (apart from a school camp), but have stayed at Caloundra, Alexandra Headland, Maroochydore and Coolum before. Am heading to Noosaville this time.

I agree, Suzanne - it might have been a good idea to re-read The Rosie Project because I couldn't quite remember what some of the characters were like previously - but never mind, onwards and upwards!!
I also agree that with my limited recall of characters from The Rosie Project, Rosie seems different, but I would probably assume that was due to her pre-occupation with her thesis and concern about Don's suitability for parenting and, as mentioned by others, pregnancy hormones.
As for another Rosie and Don book...as I was reading this, I was actually thinking that a third might be a mistake. One was great, two was mostly good, but three...? I'm not sure how interested I would be - maybe I might be after 7 years...
And I've just re-read this - it sounds harsh, yet I did enjoy the read. But I guess I was just a little disappointed that it didn't measure up to The Rosie Project.

It was a good read - I just felt it deteriorated a little part-way through.

Snap, Mary!! I finished it today as well! Sounds like you enjoyed it more than I did. And I did enjoy it, just not as much as the first and not as much as I expected to.

You going to see him Michael? You took leave last year so you could go to the festival didn't you?
