suggestions: dark fields (limitless movie)

Hi guys looking for a book that's much along the lines of some of my favourite stories like dark fields by Alan Glynn, 1984 by George Orwell or even though it's not a book; something that follows inception's plot. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
