Desirae turned around, back in the way of the School. Maybe she could practice on a few Erasers there. And it was always fun to play with the whitecoat's minds.
She was flying over a city now. She wasn't sure which one, and didn't really care. Her mind wandered, and she stared absently at the ground. Lots of skyscrapers here, she thought as she flew over one. Something big was laying on the topof it, and Desirae slowed down to look closer. It looked like an Eraser... She turned around and landed beside it.
She had been right. It was an Eraser. But what was one doing so far from the School? And that face... she knew that face. Desirae gasped. "X-Xavier?!" The furry mound shifted painfully to look up at her. Her eyes widened. "What did they do to you?!"
And that was before she saw the mess that used to be his back.

Addie scowled at the limp body of the girl laying on the floor as she placed the needle in a plastic bag and threw it away. One less bird kid. At least the School could say they did something useful today.
