Xavier roared and held back on to Storm's neck, watching her face turn purple. He could still do this. A mutant and two humans. Storm's gang were too afraid to hit Storm, so they weren't firing.

Faith grabbed a gun and shot Xavier 5 times in the back.

Xavier's eyes widened, his grip on Storm loosed, and he fell to the ground next to her.

Iz coughed. She sat up and looked at Xavier. Faith was staring at Xavier with out emotion.

Xavier gasped for air, but he knew if he stayed here Faith would kill him. So he struggled to his feet and took off into the air. He heard shots behind him, and a couple came close to him, but none hit him. When he was far enough away, he collasped on the top of a high building. He was panting, and every breath was painful now.

Xavier knew he should have been dead been now. If he were human, he would definitly be long gone by now. He figured he only had about an hour.
Where had Faith come from anyway? She didn't have any powers. Xavier's mind was a blur. And it was being drowned out by the pain in his back he was trying to ignore.
He had to do something. He had to. But he was so dizzy. Maybe if he rested a while...
No. He couldn't do that. Go to sleep and not wake up. He had things to take care of before that happened. He had found a bottle of asprin in a backpack someone had left on the roof, and he was eating them 10 at a time. But that only made him sleepier, so he stopped.
Would Faith and Storm and Opal come after him? Finish his off? Xavier almost wished for it, but he knew they wouldn't. They wanted him to suffer, not die a quick death.
He had to do something. He had to.

Wade stood in front of Faith's room. "Faith?" he asked. When there was no answer, he repeated, a little louder. Still no answer.
Wade turned the doorknob and walked in. "Faith, I just wanted to let you know that I sent Xavier to go check on--" he stopped. Faith wasn't in her room.

Faith knew that Storm was confused. She ran to a hotel. She was able to "convince" the manager she was staying there. After she got to "her" room she called Wade.

Iz stood up and looked at Opal, wondering who she was.

Opal looked at Storm. She looked away thinking, What was aith thinking? I can't believe she'd been dumb enough to take those snake pills 3 years ago. I mean, going to the future to get me, then bringing me back to the past so I can keep Storm from becoming evil? I can't do that! I'm only7 13! Well, I guess the me that lives during this time is 10 but, still!

Daphle flipped in the air before landing perfectly on the ground. A move she had been practicing since... since when? Daphle didn't remember anything other than everyone's name and that she used to know them. And Itex, who were trying to do good. And she was helping them. She thought about it. It was weird- like am puzzle piece missing from her memory. She smiled. Yes. Exactly. A puzzle piece.
