The girl stared at him with cold eyes, not lowering the gun.
The guard took a deep breath. "Miss, we don't want to shoot, but if you don't drop the gun, we'll have to," he said.
The girl looked around, meeting all of their eyes. He took a step forward, and she reached into her pocket. She pulled out a black circular object, and the guard's heart sank. "Do you know what this is?" she said softly, her messy blond hair blowing slightly, though there was no wind. "A bomb," she finally answered herself. "You shoot, and we all die."
His mind raced in panic. How the hell had she gotten past security with that thing?! Who was she, anyway?!

"Do you want to test that?" Stella said loudly, smiling a little when they looked at her in surprise. She threw the bomb up in the air and caught it absentmindedly. The others had to hurry. She couldn't keep up this game for much longer.

Scarlett grimaced as she landed on her foot funny, but kept running. Her ankle throbbed as she asked Anthony, "How much farther?"

((Same with me. But I got a good enough average in all my classes and enough community service hours to get into the Honors Society at my school, which is kind of a big deal... so, yeah. That's the only reason.))
