Hi Kevin and welcome, this group is more likely to feed your addiction to books than temper it. I envy your fluency with Irish, I had a decent level but haven't used it regularly in years.

Welcome. As Paul said, we are definitely enablers. Not only do we turn people on to various titles, but we cheer when others buy books. Emma's right about increasing TBR piles.
Maybe a disclaimer so you aren't sued for destroying peoples' lives :) . Talking about TBR piles, I've spent the summer working for a bookshop and I still haven't got around the scanning them all in. No wonder the owners love me when I'm putting all my wages straight back into the place!
Being paid in books... If only! Though I can't imagine the local subway taking too kindly to a true crime novel in exchange for a footlong turkey and ham :)
