OK so I'm half way through. who is she!!! what is she!!! it's getting good. I'm so trying to picture akiva how he looks. especially since he is super beautiful. can't wait to dig deeper in this book :)

I really didn't have high expectations of this book but it's actually really really good. Zuze is actually one of my favorite sassy female characters of all time. I've read the rest of the series and she just gets better and better :)

OK so I finished yesterday and it was good. I was hooked super hooked in the middle when she was trying to get to brimstone and akiva was there and all.in love with her. but then we find out who she is, and I was kinda like OK, I guess. kind of guessed it, but I just don't get how it is now. is she still karou with memories of the other chick, or is she the other chick fully. so confusing. I'm almost OK with not reading any more books in the series. but I will, since I bought it, and since I hate getting out of a series without making sure I don't like it. SK anyways, we shall see.

I felt like this when I read it a couple of weeks a go. I thought surely she would keep Karou's personality as that's what she's known all her life. So she'd act and talk and think the same, but just with this new knowledge of a past life...right?

So instead of something like "Oh Akiva I've missed you my love!" it would be "Oh yeah man I remember you now we were in love weren't we?" She wouldn't be Madrigal, she'd just have Madrigal's memories. That's what I'm thinking anyway, haven't read the second book yet!

yea I hope it's her just having madrigals memories, but mostly karou, because I really did like karou. so we shall see. gonna start the second book today :)

I seriously am.not that excited to read dust and starlight. I feel.like I could put leave this series alone and be perfectly happy.
