"Clean what?" she shrugs. She's never done chores like this in her kingdom but it was kinda interesting.
"The ship of course." He said like it was an obvious thing
"You have any soap?" she says referring to the dirty sailors.
"I think it is in any of the cabinet." He said
She gave a huff, "Thanks" she finds herself scrubbing every inch of the darn ships deck. Its done by noon.
"What?" she says putting away the soap and blowing. Soap bubbles from her hair.
"Just making sure your doing an great job." He said
"this clean enough for ya?" she says at the newly cleaned ship.
He looked around. "I've seen better." He said
"You want me to dump the dirty soap water in you?" she says picking up the heavy bucket of it.
"Duh" she says throwing the water into the see, "Anything else?"
"I'm not getting any younger" she says impatiently.
"Gosh" she says sand walks back into the cabin and picks up the plate of finsihed pancakes, "Are you done Sir?'
"Um? Oh yah yah yah yah." Darren said without looking up
She picks up the dish and washes it in the sink along with the other crew members dishes and walks into the cabin again and sits on the end of the bed.
"Is there anything you want me to do sir?" she asks gently trying to get him to talk to her for once.
"Yes sir" she says in a low voice and walks away.
He closed the book. He got up and walked out from the cabin to get some fresh air
"Hello sir" she nods quietly attempting to get back in the cabin.
He didn't answer her. He just passed her almost like she was air
She silently wished he would acknowledge her. He just acted as if she didnt exist.
He walked out and looked out over the ocean
She heaved with a breathe of bravery and marched up next to him and stood beside him looking into the ocean.
He glanced down at her and then looked back at the ocean
"I am alive you know" she says crossly.
"Yes I know. Your not really quite." He said
"You act as if im not" she sighs looking at her feet.
"I....don't..." she says blushing a little.
"Maybe I just don't like being ignored" she says crossing her arms.
"You never care" she sighs looking into the water and spitting into the crashing waves.
"wow thats a shocker' she says her voice dripping with sarcasm
"Have you ever NOT been busy?" she huffs blowing a strang of hair from her eye.
she sighs. short tempered she would guess. She wanted to say sorry but she wouldnt mean it.
