.
Instead of your moderators coming up with three "themes" for the group to vote on ... we invite YOU to nominate a theme for next month. Could be a specific genre, a cover image, a title word, an author initial...

ONE nomination per member

To encourage participation from more members, the person who nominated LAST month's winning theme cannot nominate this month. So, SOUTHWESTZIPPY, you will *not* be able to submit a nomination (though you WILL be able to vote).

DEADLINE - 25August19 5p CDT, or 5 nominations (whichever comes first)

Once the nominations are closed, we'll set up a poll for membership to vote on the theme for next month.

NOMINATED THEMES:
. Harvest - A book somehow related to harvest (cover, scene in book, theme) - Denise
. Family - A book that deals with family relationships - Koren
. Teddy Bear Day - Stuffed animal on the cover /or/ in the story - Carol
. World Gratitude Day - Read a book that makes you feel grateful about something in your life - Connie
. Hobbit Day - Read a fantasy novel - Brittany

Harvest - You could chose things related to the harvest. You don't need to find the word harvest, though that is one thing you could do! Anything with food on the cover, a book about food, where a farm, farmer or growing any kind of crop/garden no matter how modest, is mentioned. Harvest moon. Ruins of crops that make people move. Families going out to the country to pick items of food (apple picking, for example). Cider mills. (yum donuts) Any religious or mythological thing that has to do with harvest (For example, in Judaism there is the holiday of Sukkot). Use your imagination.
