More swampy part of SC, a good place to catch marsh birds, frogs, snakes, and lizards. Connects with the Thunderpath, which goes to ThunderClan. A small creek winds around here, and beware, for rainy times bring flooded areas here!

Appleclaw padded out of camp after Ashstripes? warrior ceremony. He wanted to get away from camp fir a little bit to get away from all the hustle and bustle. He spotted a bird deciding he might as well hunt while he was out here.

Littlebreeze, a bit tired from all of Lilystem's plotting, sighed. Why can't she just accept Ashstripe and get along with her? I do not know...

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw was just about to pounce when he heard another cats paw steps. He jerked his head towards the other cat it was Littlebreeze! Appleclaw tried to smooth his pelt down before she saw him. "H-Hi Littlebreeze." He tried saying confidently Come on Appleclaw you do this! I can he thought? Of course you can now start acting more confident! I'll try... He thought as he got closer to Littlebreeze "It was an interesting day wasn't it?" He asked her not stuttering even once. Hey I did it he though! Told ya so. Yeah yeah Appleclaw thought.

Littlebreeze, being herself, automatically eyed him up and got in defense mode. In her ears, she heard Appleclaw's question- "It was an interesting day wasn't it?"- as mocking and sarcastic. "What do you want?" She snarled at him.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw flinched at Littlebreeze's harsh tone "I don't know maybe, maybe I want to talk to." To the prettiest cat in the clan he thought "To you." He lamely finished. He sat down "Want to sit with me?" He offered gesturing to the spot beside him.

She eyed the spot Appleclaw had invited her to. "Maybe? What is waiting for me if I sit there? How many pranks exactly?"

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw shook his head "No pranks I promise." He said looking at Litttlebreeze "Trust me." He said to her.

"Fine." She relented. If there IS a prank waiting for me, then at least I'll have called it. Littlebreeze sat down next to Appleclaw, still wary even though nothing happened immediately.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw hardly noticed that Littlebreeze wasn't exactly the happiest kitty in the world. He was just happy to be sitting next to her he just wished she would stop looking at him with that distrustful look. "So how've you been Littlebreeze?" He asked her refusing to sit in uncomfortable silence.

She glanced at Appleclaw and back to the ground. "Fine." She muttered.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw inwardly groaned this was going to end badly he knew it but it was still worth trying to get her to talk. Now if he could think of a question that she has to give more than two syllables. "Have you met Ashstripes yet?" He asked her. "If you have is she nice?" He asked her hoping to maybe just maybe get the conversation rolling.

Littlebreeze scowled. This was exactly what she had been trying to take a break from. Thanks a lot, Appleclaw, She thought with sarcasm. "Yeah," Littlebreeze growled, "yeah, I have." She lifted her head to meet Appleclaw's eyes. "Nice? What exactly do you mean by nice?"

[Emrys.]

"Ummm I dunno. Friendly? Approachable?" The exact opposite of you right now he thought. "But it's obvious that you don't want to talk about it so moving on...." He said trying to think of something that wouldn't offend her. If he offended her again she'd probably hiss at him! "So catch anything good lately?" He asked awkwardly

She shrugged and watched the grass sway in the light breeze.

It was worth a shot he thought to himself. "So ummm not much of a talker." He said to her understatement of the century he thought before realizing that he said something stupid again "Er I mean er you have um a love for um silence." He finished lamely stuttering the whole way through and, if cats could blush his fur would be a bright red right now.

Littlebreeze studied the ground. "It's not that I have a love for silence, or that I'm not a talker." She murmured. "I just don't feel like talking about things that have no meaning to me. Also because many cats talk to me just to mock me." Littlebreeze wasn't sure why she was telling him this. Maybe, She thought, It's because he is the first cat to not taunt you in a while. Maybe it's because when you shut him out, he still tries to get in. Maybe....it's because it seems like he really cares.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw was over the moon she was actually talking to him! He didn't like that she felt that way but hopefully he could change that. "Just to let you know I'll never ever mock you I promise, you can trust me." He said earnestly looking into her eyes. "I'm sorry you've had to face that but I swear that I'll be there for you and you can talk to me anytime." He said meaning each and every word.

((Would you mind if I created a bully to sort of pick on Littlebreeze because it doesn't really seem like anyone else in ShadowClan would pick on her and I think it'd be really cool especially to develop Appleclaws and Littlebreezes relationship what do you think?))

She looked into his green eyes, and saw nothing but honesty. "I...Thank you." Littlebreeze murmured.

"You know um like the weather or something." He said awkwardly feign his pelt starting to heat up again.

Littlebreeze chuckled. "You seem nervous."

"Yeah I guess I am." He said avoiding eye contact with Littlebreeeze "How h-have you been lately?" He asked her trying to sound more confident than he actually was at the moment.

This time she actually smiled. "You already asked that."

He had forgotten about that "Umm sorry I guess I forgot." He said laughing "But it's good to hear you laugh." He said truthfully

Littlebreeze immediately started looking serious again, though an obvious smile was fighting for control. "I'm not laughing. No. Totally, completely not laughing."

Appleclaw smiled "Yes you were I saw it I totally did!" He said playfully "Don't you dare pretend that you weren't." He said in a mock serious tone of voice.

She laughed, feeling very light. Littlebreeze liked that Appleclaw could make her feel this way. She liked his personality, and she noticed...he was a very handsome tom.

Appleclaw was enjoying this conversation very much the way she made him feel was amazing. This was probably the best day of his life. He couldn't believe that his crush a she-cat who avoided the whole camp was talking to him.

"Ashstripe." Littlebreeze said suddenly. "You asked about Ashstripe, right? She's friendly enough, I guess. I mean, she acted like one would expect, being a kittypet who just joined a clan."

[Emrys.]

"Oh yeah I did didn't i?" Though he said it more of a statement than a question "Do you think Blackstar made a good choice in letting her stay?" He asked her

She shrugged. "Well, yeah. She's pregnant, too, so how could he even refuse?"

"I did not know that." He said his voice full of surprise "I guess I understand Blackstar's decision more now though." He said thoughtfully

"Lilystem thinks it's an act." Littlebreeze said thoughtlessly.

"Lilystream thinks Ashstripe is pretending to be pregnant?" He asked his eys wide with surprise

"Uh, whoa did I say that out loud?" Littlebreeze blinked, and then realized what Appleclaw had said. "No! No, she knows Ashstripe's actually pregnant....she thinks...Lilystem thinks Ashstripe's innocent and shy personality is an act."

Appleclaw nodded "Yes yes you did say that." He said with a slight chuckle. "That makes more sense." He admitted

"Yeah." She offered him a half smile.

Appleclaw stated off in silence for a little while before speaking again "Why do you think Lilystem would say that?" He asked Littlebreeze.

"Honestly?" Littlebreeze sighed, "I don't know. Maybe she's jealous of the attention."

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw nodded "That might be." admitted before settling into a comfortable silence.

Brackenheart entered the south side of ShadowClan the scent of two cats leading him. He spotted them sitting and talking. He approached them quietly though there was no doubt that they would definitely smell him so there was almost no point in sneaking up on them but he did it anyways because it was fun at least to him it was. “So if it isn't my favorite cat Littlebreeze, did you finally get some cats pity to talk to you?” He taunted before looking at Appleclaw “Then again it doesn't take very much to convince Appleclaw here to spend time with a pretty she-cat.” He continued though it was a definite lie. Appleclaw had always had his eyes set on one she-cat and even though Brackenheart failed to see what Appleclaw saw he thought it would be good to use on his least favorite cat in the clan.

Appleclaw Unfortunately had not caught Brackenheart’s scent he was to caught up in his conversation with Litttlebreeze. He was startled to hear Brackenheart's voice behind him. He quickly jumped to his paws “How dare you!” He hissed”Anyone would be lucky to talk to Littlebreeze, and you and I both know that I've had my eyes set on only one she-cat.” He said

((I'm sorry, Appleclaw....this is just Littlebreeze's personality. Don't give up!))

Littlebreeze jumped up, eyes narrowing as she hissed to Appleclaw, "For once Brackenheart is right- I don't need your sympathy!" Her heart squeezed as Brackenheart's cruel words sunk in. She really wasn't pretty. Appleclaw hadn't been flirting, of course not. "...you and I both know that I've had my eyes set on only one she-cat." Littlebreeze's instincts fell into place as she started to feel confined. Got to get away...have to leave! She turned and bolted off, away from her troubles. As she raced away, Littlebreeze's hurt from all of Brackenheart's tauntings propelled her forward ever faster.

((Not sure if tauntings is a word, but...you know what I meant. So much drama!))

"Now look what you've done." Appleclaw hissed in frustration "Why do you have to pick on her? You Fox-heart!" He spat in frustration "Just because your father walked away from the clan doesn't give you the right to be so mean." He said

Though he would never ever admit Appleclaws words hurt, each one chipped a tiny bit of his armor but the statement about his father was the last straw "You know nothing about me or my father!" He said and before he could stop himself he attacked Appleclaw clawing his ear.

Appleclaw cried out in pain as he felt Brackenheart's sharp talon rip through his ear. He tried to defend himself but before he could Brackenheart had backed off to the edge of the clearing and run off. Just like the coward he is Appleclaw thought before heading off to find Littlebreeze. He knew that he should go to the medicine cat but Littlebreeze was much more important in that moment.

She splashed through the creek and through the marsh, not feeling, just running. Littlebreeze had no idea where she was going, only that she felt better fleeing than staying to be mocked more. Suddenly she felt rough, hard rock underneath her paws, and a monster roared past. The Thunderpath. Have I come that far? Littlebreeze stepped back, off of the cold, black, rock.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw followed Littlebreeze's scent completely ignoring the stinging sensation in his ear. He followed her scent until they came to the thunderpath. "Littlebreeze watchd out!" He yelled. Then breathed a sigh of relief when it seemed to whisk right past her. He ran the rest of way to her. "Are you ok?" He asked

"I'm fine." Littlebreeze muttered, turning away from Appleclaw. Another monster zipped past, and she flinched.

[Emrys.]

Appleclaw watched as another monster zipped past before taking another step away from the thunderpath. "I didn't talk you you because I pity you Littlebreeze." He said standing still though his ear was bothering him like crazy.

"Then why would you?" She snapped, turning back around to face him. "Brackenheart is right- I'm not pretty." Littlebreeze spat, momentarily squeezing her eyes shut against the hurt Brackenheart had caused. Opening them, she continued. "So why would you come after me?"

[Emrys.]

"Brackenheart is a Fox-Hearted liar!" Appleclaw growled his tail flicked back and forth angrily. "You're the prettiest she-cat I know." He said his voice softer as he ducked his head in embarrassment "I came after you Littlebreeze because I truly care about you." He confessed looking up slightly.
