Do we want to decide ahead of time which options for tasks we are going with?
_Three of a Kind_
Do we want to go with:
same genre
published same year or in the same month
same author
same number in its series
same number of pages (rounding to the nearest hundred: so 198 would be 200 and 212 would also be 200).

same author
same number in its series
same number of pages (rounding to the nearest hundred: so 198 would be 200 and 212 would also be 200).
_Small Straight_
Which sequence?
(1,2,3,4 OR 2,3,4,5 OR 3,4,5,6)
_Large Straight_

Yes - I think it would help if we try to see how we can get the more difficult categories done.
My next def planned reads:
This treacherous journey by Misty M Beller - first in the series
A noble masquerade by Kristi Ann Hunter - also first in the series
I’m on my phone so difficult to see all the other details for this two books.
Will also go through my other planned reads and list what I’m planning etc.

three/four of a kind:
same genre Historical
published same year or in the same month 2018 - February
same author Mist M Beller
same number in its series first in series
same number of pages (rounding to the nearest hundred: so 198 would be 200 and 212 would also be 200). 376 = 400 pages
Small/Large straight
Contains 3 and 6
Section 1 - number 1 4 points

three/four of a kind:
same genre Historical
published same year or in the same month 2015 - September
same author Kristi Ann Hunter
same number in its series first in series
same number of pages (rounding to the nearest hundred: so 198 would be 200 and 212 would also be 200). 365= 400 pages
Small/Large straight
Contains 3, 5 and 6
Section 1 - number 1 4 points

three/four of a kind:
same genre Suspense
published same year or in the same month 2017 - January
same author Susan May Warren
same number in its series second in series
same number of pages (rounding to the nearest hundred: so 198 would be 200 and 212 would also be 200). 337 = 300 pages
Small/Large straight
Contains 3
Full House
first name contains either two consonants and three vowel
Section 1 - number 2 4 points

And do you guys want to select categories to cover first or say what we are reading and see where the best place would be to place it (to get the most points) etc.

Oh, that's funny; I have the same book (This Treacherous Journey) on my list to get to soon! XD

For the 3 of a kind and 4 of a kind, do we want to go with same genre and pick Christian Fiction? I never even thought of this, but saw a different team mention it and thought it was a brilliant genre choice! What do you all think ?

A Noble Masquerade would also work for Read a book that a teammate rated 5 stars (or that a mod rated 5 stars). I loved it and gave it 5 stars. :)

That is quite smart. Because I only read Christian fiction, I assumed we have to break it down to Historical/suspense etc. So yes we can go with that.

Oh great!

Same! Because i read so much Christian Fiction i never thought to use that. I had expected to break it down to something more restrictive. Lol

I think it would be fun to use This Treacherous Journey for "three of a kind", since three of us are planning to read it.
I'm planning to start

#1 - a debut novel
#2 - 200-299 pages
#5 - September publication
Three/four of a kind - Christian fiction
Large/small straight - 2 in page count
Any preferences?

Let the challenge begins :-).

It's the first in a series and 300+ pages so would count as a 1 or a 4.
Not sure what the second book will be.

I think Four of a Kind.
That would be so fun to do same author for three of kind since you all are planning on reading the same book. :D
I made us a spreadsheet and filled it in with the books mentioned. If I put it in a place and you want to move it somewhere else, please do. I just tried to get everything mentioned. I figure this way we can easily see what everyone is reading. Hope this helps!

Thank you Melanie. I prefer the spreadsheets, Helps to see the big picture :-)

Not sure if a boat will qualify for the "Ship on cover" category.

I've got one with a ship in case we need it, if you want to use this one for red. :)

ok great, plotting this in for Red cover.

Great! I'm hoping to finish it today. Not sure I'll get much reading done over the weekend, but I have a few good options penciled in for next week. ;)

Thanks! I ended up sick this weekend and not getting done as much as I planned, but it made for a lot of reading time. ;)

Can work for:
Section 1 - task #6 - published in Dec
Four of a kind
Large straight - cointains 3 in number, or 4 in publishing date (publised Dec 4th 2018)

I finished

Does anyone else have a book they will read that a team mate or mod rated 5 stars?
Otherwise I will change the above to that category and then use

Just wanted to check before I post my review. Once the review is posted it is fixed for that category.
