How are you gonna do this? Read a story then discuss? When are you starting?
Yeah, what Latasha said! :)I would love to join in, but I won't be able to until probably the end of the first week of October.
I would love to join in on this eventually. Let me know when you have read quite a bit into this though so I can start chatting about it. This was such a twisted book and I had a great time reading it.
Since all of the authors hang out around here, I'm hoping maybe one or more of them will pop in when we finish it. :)
If not we can always curse them with the "May all your candy taste like candy corn!" curse and or "May all the holiday shows on Halloween be Christmas specials!" Better yet curse them with the ghost sheet costume that only gets them rocks when they go trick or treating :o)
I'd like to get in this.

yeah! we found some at Walgreens that is apple pie flavor..oh my!!! it was soooo good!

Mix candy corn with salted peanuts and it tastes just like a PayDay candy bar - nice blend of sweet and salty. We go through bags of it every year doing that...

Another fun and tasty treat are those gummy eyeballs they sell in the bulk foods section of the store in town here...so tasty and they gross my wife out :o)

My wife picked up a bag of those new Cheetos that have pieces shaped like skeleton parts...yummy :o)

I always get a big smile on my face at work, when I see a box come in off the truck labeled...missing body parts :o)

lol, we got some of that too. it IS good!
my wife found a really cool idea for making some really slimy worms out of Jello and plastic straws. And you know what they say...There's always room for Jello
Have you noticed how far from Bad Apples we've come? But hey speaking of apples, I saw an idea for apple nachos online. It's a place of sliced apples spread out with caramel & chocolate syrup drizzled on top with some mini chocolate chips sprinkled on top too
Yeah, I've seen recipes for something like that. You make the nachos out of baked tortilla bread and drown them in cinnamon sugar, apples, Carmel & whatever else you like. No, I haven't made it yet.

Oh. My mistake. Still, its cool to see this as a buddy read anyway. I read The Troop a couple weeks ago. It was quite good.

Hi All,I just became aware of this thread. Hope you enjoy the book, but like Gregor said, open and honest criticism is highly valued.
