Really? So cool.

You're on team Serpents Of The Sea - Water Element.
Actually, I was about to create that thread.
Don't worry, we element mentors will send a PM soon for checking, so, if you don't get one in a day or so, yell for help :D

Well, the read and discuss is for the buddy reads, in case you want to set some with members from other teams to gather more points.

:)
The team assembler master is sleeping though, so, you may have to wait a few hours.

I'm just super excited about the challenge, this being my first one. :D"
Know the feeling. *whispers* I spend the whole day n tower team land instead of working :)

I'm also excited and it's not my first one. Been counting days since sign-ups are open. And still continue counting till Nov 8th when it starts.
This is good challenge to start. Nothing hard, just reading books and hanging out with your teammates. I've met great people in second round (and later in other team challenges).

I think so. I've been lurking in the group for quite a long time but wasn't sure where to start. I know that sounds silly but I was kind of lost among all these topics and discussions. Just saying. So I hope the challenge will help me to be acquainted with the members of the group and to know better the group itself. :)

If it is possible (and not against the rules), I'd like to be assigned to the team Soaring Eagles. One of the members of the group (Srividya) is my friend and hence the choice. :)
But if it is not possible, I'll be glad to join any other team as well. :)

How many books you have read in 2014 (>100 pages) So far I've read 211 books. Only 130 of them consist of more than 100 pages.
How many books you plan to read 2015? My goal will be read 100.
The continent you live in (so we can try and match time zones) USA, PST.
Would you be willing to be a Team Captain? Or Co-Captain? No, this is my first NBRC challenge.
Is this your first team challenge with NBRC? Yes! See answer above.

I would like to sign up. My teammates over at TCF told me about this game:)

How many books you plan to read 2015? Hopefully around 100

Update
Mods are currently organising everyone who has signed up into teams (eek! exciting!) as it does take a bit of time to try and get the right mix.
Over the coming week we will PM all members with their team assignments and links to their team discussion thread. If you have a private profile, please add this mod account as a friend to ensure you receive that message.
Once you get this link, you will need to check in to your team thread by November 3. I will post here again once the emails are sent.
We are still taking sign-ups and will continue to do so through most of the challenge as members need to leave for "real life" reasons or reading goals change, but those signing up from post 355 onwards, you may be placed on a 'reserve' list and we will message you as soon as a place is available on a team, OR we may get enough new signups to create a new team. Watch this space!

OK, since you can't calm down, check the water teams :P

I was kind of waiting to give the captains a chance to reserve some posts at the top.

Mary, try messaging your captain/cocaptains about it. I just did and it seems like it's down to personal preference. Some teams have dozens of reserved posts, and some don't.

They're still in the process of sorting everyone. I saw a Storm on one of the groups but big sites liek this, it's possible there's doubles, so I'm waiting for the PM to be sure of what team I'm on.

HI! I am signed up but I was reviewing the spreadsheet and you have me as being in ST as my time zone. I am actually in NY so I am in EST. Thanks!
