This is a book I read sometime between 2005 and about 2010. It is fiction, I think written by a woman. Funny novel about a woman and her life - dating, etc. Each chapter or at least some of them start with the name of someone she dated, a few funny facts about them and then their last words to each other. Very funny. Written along the lines of Jennifer Weiner, etc.

The Spellman Files perhaps? The MC writes about "Former boyfriend #xx" and calls the guys that she's dating "Future former boyfriends"
