Kaitlin (Next Page Please!) (kaitlinreadstomuch) | 1 comments I liked this book! I really liked how it was written in different views and this book just shows how much your life can change because of one person.

Is it safe...?

Okay, I really want to talk about Leila and Hudson. I really didn't expect Hudson to find her in the end! I didn't! That would have been too good to be true! But then he did! AHH! It was perfect. But also, not perfect, you know? Because they each have their problems and they separated not on the greatest terms, and..just. I am SO glad Hudson found her :)

Overall I enjoyed the book but the entire time I just keep telling myself that it was too predictable. The only then that caught me off guard was the part about her memories. I totally did not see that coming! I found Hudson and Leila's relationship rushed and weird. They met one day, made out, she ruined his future, she left and then he spends the rest of his summer trying to find her and then she make out again.....i just can't wrap my head around it. I personally think I could have read a whole book on just their relationship and then have the other characters added in as friends or something. Thats just my opinion though.I still gave it 4 stars.

Eden Grey (edengrey) I agree that I wished their relationship had played a bigger part in the book. Honestly, though, I feel like the fact that its not all about the romance is probably what sets this book apart from so many contemporary YA novels.
I didn't really get the rushed feeling from their relationship - there was just this instant spark between them that kind of ignited then fizzled then reignited at the end. What made you think it was rushed, Jordan?

Well, I just felt like their relationship was so instant, and I know most YA novels are like that but I feel like they didn't even know each other and then they fell in love after not talking for the whole summer. Those were my thoughts anyways. Are you going to participate in the Q and A tonight?
