That Dash book sat in requests for a couple of months before my approval came through, there was another one that was almost a month, so I think I need to quit obsessing. Lol.

Well, I've received tweets from 4 people so far who got them. I'm actually wondering why they didn't just make it "read now" instead of by approval since it's just a few chaps. Also, I have no idea what they're looking for or if they just randomly choose. :(BUT, I'm going to make sure everyone gets to read the whole first chapter. I'll have it as part of the Ensnared blog tour in early December. Sorry I couldn't do more!
A.G, I think I know why it doesn't say read nowMost new novels aren't that famous (I checked that out) and so making it a so called "read now". Anyone can read the "less famous" books, But your books are more promising. You have 69 likes while other new books have 14.
This is just a theory by the way.

@Aradia: I don't know what you do to get it - I just requested it & waited a few days for it to be processed. In the past, when I haven't been accepted, I've been instructed by Netgalley to update my profile info, which has helped somewhat. Sorry I can't be of more help!

I was denied as well..... So sad because I was hoping to get everyone excited about it at the library where I work.

The Netgalley intro page states that it is for "professional readers"...

I get between 1,600 and 2,000 hits on my blog every month and I have an 86% feedback ratio on Netgalley, so if I didn't get one, someone who just joined Netgalley isn't going to qualify.
Sometimes I do but most times I don't.
