Ryan and Fangs

He nodded then said as he kept working with his helmet "I understand, as it would be hard to see what I'm thinking with a helmet covering my face." When he finished talking he took off his helmet and even though he was in combat with demons earlier, he didn't have any new scars or anything thanks to his helmet.
Olivia was glad he didn't ask anything else about it. She wouldn't have known what else to say. Probably would end up embarrassed, she felt a bit right now. She shook it away, smiling a bit more as he took off his helmet. His helmet definitely did a good job of protecting him. Like the rest of his armor.
"Is....your armor magic too?" She decided to ask. Since she had been curious for awhile about it.

She smiled a bit as she listened to him speak, seeing the look on his face as he talked about his father. An almost serene look. He seemed to have a faraway look, as if he was back home with his father. She took in a breath, running a hand though her hair. She didn't want to disturb him while he was having such nice thoughts.

Olivia watched as he started to smile. Making her smile a bit more herself. It was nice to see him smile. There was definitely no one here that would be able to make armor like his.
"Your father.....seems like a great man." She said quietly. Remembering only the few things she knew about her own father.

Olivia shook her head slightly. She didn't mind hearing about him. She liked hearing stories from where he lived. It seemed like a beautiful place.
"There's....not really much to tell about me." She said shrugging slightly. "I never knew my mother. "It was my father that raised me. "He was.....a really private man."

Rystar nodded slowly then asked "So, you live alone now then?... I'm sorry, I hope you will be able to reunite with your family sometime then, as those bonds are very important in living through life." He then turned silent as if he didn't know what else to say at that moment.
((No worries.))
She nodded when he asked if she lived alone. She had for awhile. She sighed at his other statement, shaking his head slightly.
"That's....kind of you." She said quietly. "But it's....just me now. "I don't really have anyone else." She shrugged slightly.

He lowered his head as if he both understood and was sorry for her even more, then he asked "Is that why you helped me earlier? If not, then what was your reason?" He seemed curious as to why she helped him recover from his impact into this world now, if she was alone.
((Of course. (: ))
She blinked, not really expecting that question. She shook her head a bit.
"I don't know." She said softly. "I saw you fall from the sky.....and saw you laying there. "I knew you...had to be hurt and I....wanted to help." Though maybe it was also because she was alone. But she didn't think about that part right now.

"No." She said softly, giving him a soft reassuring smile. "You didn't make me feel bad. "I've....come to terms with all that." Mostly, she thought to herself. "And I understand, being new here of course you'd be curious. "I'm more then willing to answer what ever questions you have."

Questions for him, she thought to herself. She had plenty of them. But she didn't want to overwhelm him with all of them. She pressed her lips together for a moment, before she spoke.
"There is something....but I don't know if it's to personal." She said quietly.

(Sorry for it being short, but I was a bit busy however have a Merry Christmas. :) )
((No worries. And yeah Merry Christmas! (: ))
Olivia pressed her lips together, looking at him for a moment, about to speak before she gasped as her phone started ringing. She sighed before standing up.
"Be right back." She said softly, going over and answering it.

(( :D ))
Olivia blew out a breath, running a hand through her hair as she listened to the person on the other end. She was supposed to have a few days off of work. But now she was being told she had to go in. She sighed glancing back to Rystar. After she was done she hung up and came back over, sitting down beside with him a sigh.

(Sorry for the late response. )
((It's totally fine.))
"I don't know." She said quietly. "That call was from my job. "I have to go back in tomorrow. "But I.....don't really want to." She shook her head, wondering if he even understood.

((It's okay. And Happy new you to you too. (: ))

Rystar nodded then said "I understand when duty calls, and I guess in this case it would be literal, so if you need to go tomorrow, then you may, don't allow me to hold you from going to do your duty." He seemed to somewhat understand but his wings just slightly dropped as if he was a bit sad about her having to go tomorrow.
((No problem.))
She sighed softly as she heard him. On some level she was grateful that he understood. But she also was sort of upset she would have to leave him alone tomorrow.
"Are you....sure you'll be okay?" She asked softly. She knew she would feel bad if she left him alone here, in a strange place he didn't know. She knew she would definitely have to show him how a few things worked.

She didn't like the thought of any showing up where she worked. She hated that they showed up at all.
"Yes actually." She said. "I can call you if they do. "I'll call the house phone....." She thought for a moment. "I can show you how it works."
"Yes actually." She said. "I can call you if they do. "I'll call the house phone....." She thought for a moment. "I can show you how it works."

"Hmm...." She said thoughtfully. "There might be a couple other things. "Like if you get hungry or anything, though that should be easy enough." She had plenty of things he could eat without having to use the stove. Maybe she could show him how to use the microwave though.

"Okay..." She said nodding her head. Though she would still teach him how to work it. She stood up for a moment and grabbed the home phone, and brought it back over. "My cell phone number is already saved in here...." She said, moving a bit closer to show him how it worked. She was pretty confident he would understand though.

"If I call you from my cell phone, then my name will appear on the little screen here." She said pointing to it. "Then you just have to press the green button here and we'll be able to talk to each other." She pulled out her cellphone from her pocket. "Here let me show you." She handed him the home phone and stood up from the couch, going a little ways away as she called it.

Olivia stood back and waited for the phone to start ringing. She smiled as she heard the other line pick up and heard his voice from the other end.
"Yes it did." She said into her cell. "Just put it up to your ear. "And you can talk to me now." She knew it would definitely take some getting use to for him, but she knew he would be okay. Though for some reason she couldn't stop worrying.

"Yes." She smiled, giggling softly. She knew he was just learning how to use it. But somehow she found it kind of cute. She quickly shook herself. "But you have to flip the phone around the other way....."

"Perfect." She said able to hear him better now. "There you go, you got it." She smiled. "Then all you have to do to hang the phone up is press the red button next to the green one."

Olivia came back around the corner as he hung up the phone. A small smile on her face as she put her phone into her pocket.
"No you did just fine." She said softly. "I think you got it."
"No you did just fine." She said softly. "I think you got it."

She blinked, not knowing why she was a bit surprised. He wanted to learn more. But she smiled a bit more nodding her head. She was happy to show him more.
"Well....follow me." She said waving her hand as she headed toward the kitchen.
"Well....follow me." She said waving her hand as she headed toward the kitchen.

"Well first...." She said going over to the fridge. "I don't know if you have anything like this where you come from, but..." She opened the door. "We use it to keep a lot of our food cold. "And we freeze things on the other side." She opened the door to the freezer, and pulled out a box of pizza rolls.

She nodded she had a feeling they didn't, but she didn't want to assume anything.
"We keep some things frozen to make them last a little longer." She said walking over to the microwave. "And then when we are ready to eat it we heat it up with this." She gestured to it as she grabbed a plate from the cupboard and opened the package, putting the pizza rolls on. "See it has the instructions on the box." She flipped it around to show him. "It tells you how long it has to go in for." She turned and showed him how to use it, putting the plate inside.

"Um...." She thought for a moment on how to say it, without sounding weird. "You....don't have to if you don't want to. "I just....want to be able to....see your face when I talk to you...." She gave him a soft smile. She didn't know why she felt a bit strange saying it.
