Christine wakes up every morning without any memory of the past twenty years. Her husband Ben explains to her that she was in an accident and she only remembers what happens from when she wakes up until she goes to sleep again. Christine is secretly seeing Dr. Nash who is trying to help her recover her memory. He encourages Christine to keep a journal to help her remember events. The premise is frightening in that it could happen to you and got me thinking about memories and their importance. The book bogs down a bit in the section that covers Christine's diary entries. A decent thriller with an unusual premise.

This sounds really interesting to me. It reminds me of the movie Memento. So do you recommend it? I think a "3" means different things to different people.
I think I saw a move of this- with Nicole Kidman.Just checked-- yep. Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth.
Guess I should read the book now, lol.
This would normally be right up my alley, interesting premise, but I skipped to the end because the middle was too monotonous. I never do that and haven't done it since, but I don't regret it.
