[UNDER CO]

Stage 1
The classier of the two stages by far, Stage 1 is meant for the more classical performances and requires a bit more out-of-pocket. Red velvet curtains close off the stage from view when it isn't in use, and the marley on the stage is always kept in prime condition. The audience has plush chairs for sitting and food and drink are made available for ordering.

Stage 2
Contrary to Stage 1, Stage 2 is made for concerts and performances of that nature. The playing area is large, and there is standing room only. There are large speakers set at each end of the stage and several smaller ones around the room. Events go from early afternoon late to late in the night (or even early the next morning). Participants usually go home with hoarse voices and ringing ears.

Kitchens
The kitchens are a busy place; large and teeming with life. There are several large stoves, but only a few are put into use - rarely is there a group so large that it requires all of them. Because of the heat generated by the stoves, the kitchens are a bit warmer than the rest of the Assembly Hall. Only kitchen staff is permitted into the area, and waiters of some sort can usually be seen hurrying in and out.

Dining Room

Buffet Room

Bar
The bar is backlit and the music streaming from it can usually be heard halfway down the corridor. The alcohol is of fairly good quality, and there are any number of men and women desperate for money (strippers, dancers - the works). Although an occasional fight does break out, this particular bar is too high-end for much trouble to come about.

Hallways
Aside from the faint music coming from the bar or second stage, the hallways are usually fairly quiet. The floors are plushly carpeted, and the walls are a shiny marble color. There is at least one person at the entrance to each of the numerous rooms branching off, and each room is labeled. Aside from that, people are generally too busy with their prescheduled event to linger for long in the hallways.

Are there any other topics in folders that need to be created?

message 254: by [deleted user] (new)

I like what you've done so far, Gabbu!

Well, do any of you have ideas for more locations?

Only ideas I have:
The Suburbs - The Outskirts
Cinema - Heart of the City
Something named after the original Council.

I'm removing myself as a mod. Don't try to change my mind. I'm not helpful enough.

I'm sorry to see you go.

Can you three help me come up with new threads for RP? All I know I want are things named after the original Council and then the Suburbs (folder or just a thread in the Outskirts?). Do you have any thoughts or ideas?

Do we have a prison?

message 272: by [deleted user] (new)

The Gaol -- British spelling of jail. And then there's the Insane Asylum which is also sort of a prison.

message 274: by [deleted user] (last edited Dec 03, 2014 06:11PM) (new)

Two Coffee Shops (Joe's Cup and the Coffee Break). The Starry Night. The Heart of Ashes. The Soul and the Dragon. Falcon Food. The Pub. Ye Old Nice Cream Parlor. The Shadow Ablaze. The Heartstring Love. Cally Eve Darrel's Bakery.

Well, in America at least, there are prisons and then there are jails. Jails are meant for short-term sentences or awaiting a trial; prisons are designed for long-term sentences/death penalty. I realize there probably aren't really trials in CoF, but should we have a definitive short term/long term jailing area?

Er, no one is meant to get out alive. Public executions are generally in place of "long-term". The Council's nice like that. The Insane Asylum is the most long-term that exists, I think.

message 277: by [deleted user] (new)

So far, at least.

Sitting over here trying to figure out all the characters I can claim/make for people without any sort of overlap. Why do I do this to myself...

Structured place to purchase the forms of literature the Council permits? (aka a book store of sorts to fit their totalitarian regime)

message 282: by [deleted user] (new)

Rainpelt wants Lucas, CJ's older brother. I have a couple more sibling positions open. You could make a character unconnected to others.

Also, locations.

Shops?
Cinema?
Anything else people do?

message 283: by [deleted user] (new)

Also, should the Suburbs be their own folder?

Suburbs:
Cinema(s)
Library/book store of some sort
Shops

MCS:
Agghhh I don't know, but I have to finish my homework and go to bed, so bye.

Okay. Suburbs are a halfway point between the Outskirts and MCS, so they're kind of like a s**tty town. I think Cinema for MCS maybe? A Library exists. . . .What types of shops exist?

Okay. I was getting them confused. I shall see you lot in approximately 7 hours.

message 289: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay.

message 290: by [deleted user] (new)

HotC -- Rich, nice, expensive. The high class. Council Skyscraper in center.
MCS -- The Slums, run down, poor, overpriced. Destitute. Crime-centric. Center of the Resistance.
tS -- Area between MCS and Outskirts. Smaller buildings, less populated, seems nearly deserted. Some houses and smaller shops. Place where Outskirts goods are picked up.
tO -- Farmlands, nearly deserted. Hardly any money. Supplies fought to the death over. Few houses, largely uneducated.

message 291: by [deleted user] (new)

Goodnight!
