Forgive me for being a male posting in your group, lol, but I wanted to introduce you to one of my novels which other Black women have enjoyed, and I think you will too.
The Corrupting of the Redeemer is about a Black megachurch pastor who begins his ministry as a good man, but becomes corrupt because he loses his sense of morality. But that is only part of the story. Beside him throughout his journey is his wife. She is a strong Black woman who supports her husband and defends him, but experiences betrayal that causes her to reevaluate their marriage. Additionally there are other Black women in the book who play prominent roles and who will resemble you, your mother, grandmother, etc. It shows that this is not truly a man’s world, because women are present and heavily involved in its continued operation.
The book deals with religion, corruption, adultery, and greed. Please give The Corrupting of the Redeemer a look. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
