Mind Domination? The fact that the vampire had the gall to attempt to control the Korona Banphrionsa's mind irked her. Didn't he know that she, also, had dominion over the mind and would not so easily succumb to his sway? Apparently, not. Regardless, Severity didn't fight him. Walking towards him gave her a closer position to Markus, and more importantly the amulet around his neck. So when Valentine kissed her hand, and then placed himself between her and the man that held her heart so long ago? Well, she wasn't too disheartened. The Arbiter couldn't be reasoned with, the thirst for power had much too tight of a hold on him. However, he couldn't fend off all four of the beings within the room...not while focused on Jakub. All one of them had to do was wait until Valentine was distracted to attempt to free Markus. Jakub had the charm that her mother had given to her, so as long as he held on to it he'd basically be safe from all attacks but physical ones. Verity just hoped that the female vampire and the lycan saw wisdom in releasing their Dominus.

Valentine could sense the walls the Korona had wrapped herself in so it wasn't so hard to imagine she was doing this in the hopes to save her beloved. He was no fool to think he could take each one down but he knew tactics well and it was all a matter of manipulation. He had laced his bite with a numbing agent one that meant the Korona hadn't realised he now had a link to her blood inside and out. All it took was a small prick. He had manipulated her blood into ribbons that slowly had wrapped around her body as the boy had confessed. The moment Severity was adorned with a ruby red necklace he chuckled devilishly. "Pathetic boy, your mother, nor your father can save you now." He clenched his fist and the ribbons of blood around her body tightened.Kayne had smelt such a tactic from Valentine and had kept his necklace behind his back waiting for it to grow to full size once more. He was no doubt disobeying his master but what was a wolf to do when he was meant to protect his master with his life. He was torn as what his duty should be but considering the young masters words he thought it best to free Markus. He gave a low growl when he heard the blood harden around the young masters mother. His eyes shifted before he levelled the sword at Valentine making a swing for Markus's necklace, both actions had the sword sparking with currents and the chains around his heart tightened considerably. Any action against Markus was forbidden but he was trying to save him, yet the chains continued, a little blood leaving his mouth. The barrier had been thrown up but Kayne continued to push until the tip of the sword met the necklace. Valentine flung Kayne against the wall which threw him into a rage. Kayne charged Valentine but at the last moment grabbed Severity, pulling her away from harm. He couldn't attack anyone in the room except Severity and to gain her safety he had to use her as a bargaining chip because he knew Valentine needed her to control Lukas and keep Markus how he was. He pressed his sword against her throat, heart pounding in pain and fear. "Bring him back." He growled which had Valentine laughing who started messing with Kayne's blood.
Amelia saw her father's work and cried out, "Father, stop this! Don't do this!" She thrust out her power to calm all those in the room. It was a hard thing to do, with all the walls that those surrounding her had build. Built to keep someone like her out so that she could not toy with their emotions. But she pushed at those walls until she found a crack in each one. Control of Jakub and Kayne was the easiest. She did not have to work much to control Severity, as she was already calmer than the others. Her father was much harder. She concentrated with all her might till she made that crack in the wall around his mind. Then she thrust her power towards the crack. Her nose began to bleed out one side as she used more of her power than she ever had. "Enough," she said, her voice weaker.

Amelia swayed, overwhelmed by the presence of Markus's mind. Blood came down from both sides of her nose now. She gasped and clutched at her head. "I...I...I can't hold it any longer," she cried out and then collapsed onto the ground. Her head hit the ground with a crack.
Valentine smelt burning metal and snatched a glimpse of metal melting at an incredible rate. Growling he glared at Jakub going to throw him against the wall when the amulet hit the ground in a disfigured puddle. Damn brat. His mind wavered but never faltered at his daughters aggressive force. She was growing but was not ready to take him on yet. He threw her leash back. At the bark of Markus's voice he gritted his teeth in irritation of the fool. Kayne had gone white, eyes blood shot, blood leaking from dangerous areas, clutching at his heart in desperation. At Markus's command his sword shrunk back into a necklace and Kayne swayed couching up a spray of blood before hitting the ground unconsciously. Valentine ceased fire and placed his hands behind his back, blood flowing like only blood should. "A heavy price to pay but a good one." He murmured, watching the boy run like the child he was.

Jakub was long gone out of sight. He wanted to take his mother's advice and prayed there was a way that the kralista would accept him.
Valentine looked to Markus with sharp eyes. "Not long but long enough to throw the balance within these walls." He told him, looking to the doorway the boy had left through. "Your son tried to over throw you and harm your beloved in the meantime. Kayne didn't have any orders so tried to harm Severity, hence why I trying to stop him but not break him." He told Markus though he may be lying the dark lord didn't need to know everything. "You should get your beloved safe and well, the wolf will wake sooner or later. Leave him be." He offered.

Amelia struggled to sit up. Blood ran down her forehead as she looked at Markus. "He lies, Lord Markus. My father lies to you. He tried to take control of the Korona Banphrionsa." Her sight went grey as she almost collapsed again. "It is true Kayne tried to hurt her, but it was only to protect you. When Jakob told him to stand down, he did." She rose to her feet unsteadily. "My father has done something to the Korona Banphrionsa. I sensed it when I tried to calm everyone." Terror and pain were all over her normally emotionless face. Blood dripped from her wound.
((I'm not really sure how to respond to all this...to be quite honest I'm a little lost as to what exactly has happened...especially to my character?))
((Amelia collapsed, Valentine did some kind of blood spell, Jakub freed Markus and is now banished))

(( Sorry Valentine was trying to restrain Severity with her own blood because he knew she had blocked him mentally and was only playing. Jakub was using Severity to try and get Markus back to save everyone from Valentines attacks but failed and collapsed. Valentine has now stopped his attacks due to Markus being back to normal so all evidence of his attack has disappeared and Severity can basically do what she likes now.))
Valentine looked to his fowl little urchin and found her to be even more infuriating that the last time. "Dominus Markus my daughters mouth has run away with her, the wound she received after her struggle has made her mind watery on the subject of what actually took place. I will be taking her for feeding so she heals. She hasn't fed for a while." He told him, bowing before going over to his daughter, hauling her to her feet to escort her out. When they were out of reach he was going to punish her ramblings with great pleasure. She was going to know what it felt like to have her mouth really run away with her.

Kayne awoke with a dull throb in his chest, tasting nothing but blood as his blurred vision met his masters. He felt like a well scolded pup. Swallowing welled up blood, her slowly got to his feet, whipping his mouth, blinking to right his vision before he finally stood up straight. Dubiously swaying he made his was over to Severity, keeping his hands to himself, head down. "Please follow me Mistress." He murmured in a gravely tone, from the dried blood still lodged in his throat. He swept his hand to direct her to the door, giving her the best smile he could muster considering the situation. He bowed brokenly to his master and helped Severity to Markus's room.
Amelia looked frightenedly at Markus and Severity. She could feel the hostility rolling off her father, drowning out all other emotions. Her eyes pleased for help as he dragged her away.
"No!" The single word slipped through the Korona Banphrionsa's lips and she snapped out of whatever magic had been placed upon her person. Glaring at both Markus and Valentine with distaste. He was planning on attacking Ӕldingar? Her kingdom, her people, her family? No. It was the only word that came to her mind; she couldn't allow such a thing to happen. "You want to know who helped Jakub escape your clutches?" Severity moved from the lycan and walked directly in front of Markus, looking him squarely in the eyes, "I did." The charm that she had given him would have protected her...son from almost anything, and Severity made a mental note to thank her mother. If she ever got to see her mother again, that was. "So, if you are going to punish anyone for aiding him? Punish me-- not Ӕldingar!" Her anger was rising like the element that she possessed control over, outraged that not only had Markus attempted to kill her twin...only it turned out to be her but he was also wanting to destroy her kingdom? "As for your 'respectable brother'," the words held an undertone of acid as she turned her gaze to Valentine, "You should listen to his daughter instead."

"Please, Lord Markus, I've never lied to you. My father tried to take control of her," Amelia was shaking uncontrollably. She was more terrified than she had ever been in her entire life. She knew, she could feel, that if she was forced to leave with Valentine, he would punish her within and inch of her life. She'd seen him do it before and had felt his power herself when she accidentally disobeyed him or didn't carry out a task exactly as he had wanted it done.

Valentine stood as he watched the situation unfold. The marvellous thing about being in his position was that Markus only saw a doting servant, nothing more, nothing less, unless he wanted him to see otherwise. The two blathering females could spout words and get no where. He gave his daughter a side glance, gripping her upper arm to within a hairs breath of breaking it. One flinch and her arm would be useless. Her pitiful shaking and sobbing routine was a pathetic show. "Dominus Markus, apologies for my childs insolents." He gave Amelia the full brunt of his gaze to shut her up. "I shall promptly doll out her punishments, though not within view of your beloved." He tugged at his daughters arm, fracturing her bone in the process.

Amelia wanted to scream when Valentine broke her arm but knew if she dis, he would squeeze it again, so only her knees buckled slightly. She closed her eyes and concentrated on what the Kralista had told her. She followed her father out.
