Is there some kind of auto-combine feature, maybe related to Amazon imports? I keep seeing books with librarian notes that clearly say "Do not combine with [similarly named book]!" and yet they have been combined with that book. So either people just aren't reading the librarian notes on the combine editions page, or there's some kind of computer shenaniganry at work.

In that same vein, I was wondering about librarian notes that say do not combine because of Norton Critical Edition, or some such note that is incorrect. When we see those should we delete them? Add another note?
Sophie, when scripts combine books it usually shows up in the logs. Ditto when a librarian does. If you see edits of either variety that look wrong to you, please flag them.

If you are certain, then yes and yes. If you are not certain, a thread in this group should probably happen first.
