There is no griffin in this book, only the arashitora, which is the 'half eagle, half tiger' beast, Buruu. I know the blurb I read when I first read the book had 'arashitora' in it, and it doesn't now, which is the reason I thought it had been changed. I guess the only to verify what it's supposed to say is to ask Jay Kristoff. Didn't mean to stir the pot, my Type-A just hates things that I know are wrong.

Aahhh, my mistake. I found another version that where the description says "thunder tiger" which is the arashitora. I guess I just never click the different versions (which I don't) and I never thought the blurb would be different for the different versions. He isn't a griffin at any rate, because the griffin was a creature with the head of an eagle and the body of a lion.
Sorry, that's just my Type-A again! :)

It's not an alternative cover ! The cover from amazon is the proper cover.If you're familiar with French publishers, you can see that it's not the proper one because there is the name of another company.
Isn't there a Points publisher in France?edit: They also have published this book before (http://www.lecerclepoints.com/livre-o... different edition)

"Points" and "Seuil" are two different publishers : which is why it's not an alternate cover.
Also the ISBN for each book are different. Whether the covers have been change through time, the ISBN will still be different because they're not the same company.

So the rest of the info is the same? Because we cannot just delete a cover, we will have to add an edition with the correct info for the deleted cover.

The German editions are omnibus editions containing "The Emperor's Soul", "Infinity Blade - Awakening" and "Legion". Do you know if the Chinese edition also contains these 3 books?
Chinese edition contains <皇帝魂>.<軍團>.<第十一種金屬>.<長嫡>.<保衛幸福之地>in English "The Emperor's Soul". "Legion". "The Eleventh Metal". "Firstborn". "Defending Elysium" 5 stories.
German edition seems contains "The Emperor's Soul". and "Infinity Blade: Awakening"."Infinity Blade: Redemption" (I'm not sure.)
