Chapter 16. (view spoiler)[ I liked the diner party. It was caotic but also seemed like it would be fun. The tea party just sounds fun to me. Im waiting to find out what alyssas wings look like. I was glad to see jeb admit that hes ben holding alyssa back, at least in wonderland. It would be nice if he would change acordingly. I just dont know that he will. I know several people said they were having trouble following the fights and action scenes, but im not having any trouble with them, thankfully. I just kind of see it all in my head. Finally finished. I really enjoyed this book.(view spoiler)[ I cant decide how i feel about jeb or morpheus any more. I enjoyed the read although i never found the book to be very weard like so many others seem to have. I dont know if thats a comintary on the kind of stuff i read or just me being weard. Chapter one

(view spoiler)[ Oh my God, the first two lines. haha. I don't know what to expect with this book... "They are my masterpieces... my morbid mosaics." I know she's supposed to be a little weird but that's kind of creepy.

There's a lot of narrative. (Is that the right word?) Like, not description but paragraphs upon paragraphs of writing with no dialogue, action etc. I know it's only the start and I'm kind of being picky but I'm hoping for a little less of this when the book actually gets properly into the story. I'm sick of the mixed feelings though. Like it's so clear she loves Jeb, but she also has chemistry with Morpheus, but it seems like it's just lust. I hate how people always go with lust rather than love, and they always regret it later.

Finished. Review: I've read this one before, and I think I liked it a whole lot more then than I did this time. Most likely because the only reason I read this one this time around was for a challenge, and I definitely sped through it. It flew past, even though it felt like it took me ages to read :p Maybe this time I'll actually get to the end of the series. I'm so pleased that (view spoiler)[Alyssa chose Jeb (for now anyway). It's so clear that they're way better off than impulsive Morpheus. (hide spoiler)] I wonder what the next books will have in store. The second book (Unhinged) already has my top vote for favourite cover of all time. It's incredible. I loved this retelling, of a way. I liked how it wasn't a complete retelling, because (view spoiler)[the original Alice was her great-great-great-grandmother, and she's just a descendant, occassionally going through the scenes from the original story to 'break the curse'. (hide spoiler)] I'm also so happy that (view spoiler)[Alicia (her mum) is alright! And that she seems to be better now, not that she was ever sick in the first place, which also came as a surprise.
