Prashant | 1 comments I'm searching for a book which I had read 15-16 years ago. The story starts with a man wake up in a another country. He knows this by the traffic going from different side than normally in his own country. He is having currency of the other country. Probably he went with some plastic surgery. As the story flows it reveals that this person is planted by some of the defence wing to gather information on a design of advanced warship or probably a submarine being developed secretly in the country where he is now. In the course of story, he founds the design snuggles it in his own country to the defence. At the end surprisingly his countries defence probably a major, colonel or general or someone who sent him to get the design, gave the design back to the rival nation for bribe. Upon asking by the novel's lead character for this traitory, the other one explained something like if the rival nation didn't get the design back, they may build something more deadly than this. Now we have the idea what they are building & they have their design back so this will stop the threat for time being.

Thank you in advance.

Prashant, at first does the man have amnesia and not know who is he or what he's supposed to do? Where does he wake up (e.g., hotel, hospital)?
